Love this place! Top notch mountain biking spot. Lots of variety including some very advanced trails with some challenging features. Check out Adam's run and kamikaze if you seek a challenge! Not for beginners or intermediates these two trails are double black diamond.

Excellent trails and all features are bypassable during your prerides. All trails, except for the main loops, are uni-directional so there is no risk of head on collisions.

I had an amazing experience at this bike trail. One of the best and most adventurous trail in Waterloo. If biking is something which makes you happy don’t miss this trail you will love it. The great thing about this trail is it’s 35 km of flowing trails which features board walks and bridges, switchbacks and “armoured” walls, with fast lines and technical features to challenge the most skilled of riders. It is open and free for public but make sure you wear a #helmet.

If you're an avid mountain bike enthusiast you'll love the Hydrocut. The trails are well marked, directional trails, very well maintained in addition to a dynamic network of trails ranging from novice to expert. They also have a lot of features throughout the trails ie. drops, logs, roots, jumps and bridges etc. Bottom line, it's an amazing place to ride and the community of riders are very friendly. Don't procrastinate, just come to the hydrocut, you won't forget your experience 🤙🏿.

We love the hydrocut! I have been mountain biking here for the last few years. The team puts a lot of work on the trails and can’t do it without the many supporters and th local contributors. Amazing place to burn some energy, riding my bike with friends

We go as "hikers" at the moment (2 x 4yr old, 6 yr old and me) and love it every time! The cyclists we have come across have been fabulous and sharing the snowy or icy paths has not been an issue. Truly a gem and thisclose to home!

Great for a rip.

Well engineered. Well maintained. Nothing feels impossible. Most of the trail has good options to stick intermediate or advanced. The advanced trails often have small bypasses for the tougher features (which are rollable on the advanced trails anyways so commit and you're fine).

You can hit most of the advanced trails and intermediates leading up in 1.5 hours ~20km+ of worth while stuff. But there's more on top of that and some decent double blacks.

Love this trail! Easy to spend a couple hours hiking the trails. Good winding trails, hilly enough for a good hike. Never had an issue with bikes and hikers sharing the trail.

Great mountain biking trail network. Setting new standards of awesomeness for mountain biking in Ontario.
And now even better with portapotties at both parking lots!

All is excellent - many trails of different difficulty (for beginners to experts), trails are nice and interesting to ride, at moments you might even get adrenaline pumping. Trails are 95% in the forest what is perfect for summer months.

BUT!!! so many mosquitoes as soon as you enter the forest, they are so fast and hungry that if one slow down bike ride on slopes they catch and bite you in the moment. I couldn't enjoy any single moment of my ride because of them and after several minutes I got at least 10 bites so I decided to escape the trails at the speed of the light. Until I find some device to protect me from these small beasts I am not going to return here for sure, no matter how everything seems attractive.

Really fortunate to have such an incredible trail system in our backyard. As beginner mountain bikers, my wife and I have loved the variability of difficulty offered and look forward to progressing to even more challenging runs in the years to come.

Great trails...lots of mosquitos and this is a small complaint but I wish there was some sort of water filling station at each parking lot because when you are on the far side it's a hike to get back to your car to refill
