Drayton Chop House

This place is gorgeous with fabulous food! New owners have done a great job with the vibe, feels right out of a movie and they have emphasized locally sourced gin and desserts! Loved the coconut shrimp and the BBQ Smoked House Burger. Don't forget dessert, the locally sourced creme brulee disappeared into my belly quite fast!

My lunch meal I enjoyed was amazingly delicious; full of flavor explosions, great service and lovely atmosphere.
I ordered the Roasted Beef Sandwich (“Thinly sliced, succulent roasted beef, paired with caramelized onions, melted cheese, and crispy lettuce, served on a ciabatta bun”); as I am not a carb fan, I asked if they could serve it on a bed of lettuce. This was absolutely not a problem & the server considerately suggested swapping out the fries for a salad.
The house salad was out of this world- fresh arugula, leaf lettuce, tomatoes, mandarins, plus more tossed in a light, tangy dressing.
The beef was tender and full of flavor. Presentation was good.
Can’t wait to go back and try more from this wonderful restaurant.

We had an absolutely delightful dining experience at this restaurant. Under new ownership, the establishment has undergone a remarkable transformation, evident in both its ambiance and menu offerings. Our children loved the chicken wings and spaghetti with meatballs, while we indulged in the tantalizing tandoori chicken sandwich and the flavorful paneer tikki masala bowl (this is the best Indian food I’ve had!). The fusion of pub classics and Indian cuisine was an awesome, leaving us eager to come back and try more!

During our visit, we had the chance of conversing with the new owners, who proudly informed us that all desserts are by a local in Drayton. Additionally, they showcased a selection of locally brewed beers, further enhancing the overall experience. We left thoroughly impressed and already planning our return.

So excited to have the CHOP house back in Drayton, our little town really needed a place like this! Under new management. The place looks beautiful! Everything has been renovated. Everything is SO CLEAN and fresh, I love the big screen. The butter Chicken bowl was delicious. Also a great place to go for a drink.

We sat outside. The weather was nice. Excellent service. Served in a timely manner. Checked regularly to see how everything was and if we needed anything. The food was very good. Quiet atmosphere. Not noisy. Recommend that you try it out.

The food, service and atmosphere was excellent for dinner following the Beehive performance at the Drayton Festival Theatre. I had the pork chop dinner special (which was cooked to perfection) and some of the others had home-made burgers, fish and chips, and the Salmon dinner entre. Everyone was really impressed with their meals. We will be back some day! Yum!

Had a great experience here at the Chophouse in Drayton. Prices are great. Appetizer of cauliflower was excellent. Great toffee dessert.

We were passing through Drayton, from Toronto, over the Family Day weekend and came across this place. The Drayton Chop House was an absolutely wonderful surprise with delicious food, warm hospitality, and the building has rustic charm. We learned by chatting with the staff that the restaurant just reopened with new owners late last year. Whatever they’re doing, keep it up. I don’t want to come across as a Toronto food snob, but the owners must have previous hospitality/restaurant experience as you could tell that the food to the decor had much thought put into it. It was also great to hear that they sourced their goods from other local purveyors. Something that seems to be rarer these days. In short, a great meal was had and I’m glad we went. The locals around the area are lucky to have a solid spot they can visit often.

Not sure what the bad reviews are all about. We had the Chicken sandwich, the Crispy Chicken Wrap and the Nachos and all were excellent. I guess some reviewers like fast food. Live in Burlington, but will definitely eat here again. When passing through.

Amazing food, amazing vibe and I just found out the owners are fairly new to the location - hats off to them! It had a family vibe with a rustic feel and the food was so tasty and the staff was so nice- highly highly recommended! Will def plan to come again very soon!

Visited the new Chop House tonight and the meal was great. The upstairs dining area was clean and spacious. Server was really good and attentive. Food was really good . I had the fish and chips and I'd have it again. A good amount of fries. Well done to the owners, the chef and the servers. We will be back.

First visit since the new owners took over, everything was great.
The cauliflower appetizer was delicious, portion sizes for everything were fantastic! Also had the best mojito of my life- try the passionfruit one!

So happy to have this place open again. The new owners have done a beautiful job freshening up the place. I had the fish tacos & they were some of the best I've had! The delicious sauce on them had a little heat, sooo tasty! Also ordered a side of fries, that were seasoned perfectly! Another plus, Neustadt Brews on tap 👏 Well done new owners! We will definitely be back. Can't wait to try the tandoori chicken!

The all cheeseburger is amazing with the fresh cut fries! Also, the new loaded munchies you can’t go wrong with.

This restaurant has amazing food, their plating is great and their service is incredible. It is one of the cleanest restaurants I have seen in while, including their bathroom. 100% recommend!
