Stratus Vineyards

This winery exceeded my expectations. It was simultaneously chic and high-end while also being cozy and welcoming. We were able to sit in prime patio seating without a reservation and were made to feel like VIPs by Catherine, despite only ordering a glass of wine each. The Riesling was slightly sweet with notes of citrus; had I not been carrying on my bag, I'd definitely have bought a bottle. Highly recommend this spot!

My partner and I got married this summer and we selected Stratus Vineyards for our wedding ceremony and reception. We worked directly with Madison and Michelle - they were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were incredibly kind, always organized, and made the wedding planning and day of festivities so enjoyable. Our guests keep telling us how beautiful the winery is and how stunning our wedding set up was. Don't over look Stratus when planning your next event as they'll ensure every detail is met and will surpass your expectations.

I decided to give this place a visit after reading some of the reviews during my first trip to the falls and was not disappointed.

The gentlemen that served us was very knowledgeable and descriptive.
We learnt about unfiltered wine and it was my first time trying it!

They have a beautiful patio overlooking the vineyards which made our wine tasting session extra pretty. We had such a lovely time and ended up buying two bottles!

Stumbled across Stratus on a quiet Tuesday afternoon and our entire visit was extremely exquisite! We were visiting Niagara for the first time and wanted to see the towns close by so we made a detour coming back to the US border. We're originally from Northern California where we've been blessed with the location to have amazing vineyards all over up and down California - but our experience at Stratus has left us with a yearning to return to the east and Canada in hopefully the near future.

Noah helped us from behind the wine bar as well as was highly attentive to our seats outside enjoying the beautiful vineyard, we absolutely adore him! The offered flights were great as is but I chose to personalize mine and I have zero regrets as Noah was so patient and descriptive in providing the best pairings and preferences for my taste. I'm usually a reds type of gal but even the white options were just as enjoyable! My favorite was the Cab Franc, which we were told had a high alcohol content and truly I could smell it from steps away from my seat but when I tasted it, it was incredibly smooth and delicious! The root vegetables chips were so delicious and paired well with the white cheddar from Toronto. Welcoming environment, kind and helpful staff, great wine, the least sweet of ice wines in the area, calm and relaxing views, well worth the trip! Do not pass up your opportunity to visit!

We just visited The Stratus and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We had a wonderful sommelier, Aditya who was very knowledgeable and shared his passion of wine with us. He even gave us a mini tour of the wine making process on the premises. And bonus, the wines were delicious!! The ambience was modern and high end. A 5* experience!

Sitting outside and enjoying some flights was fantastic. The gentleman that served us was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He explained in great detail all of the flavors and processes for each specific wine. We did not order any food but the tasting experience alone was highly worth it and I would definitely recommend.

Status is a very clean and modern winery. Noah was behind the wine bar and attended to us as well. He was very polite, knowledgeable and accommodating with our questions and preferences. Another gentleman whose name I didn't get was also very nice and gave us some info on the area and some places to visit.

We tried some of the wines and had a bit of the artisan cheese (white cheddar) and the root vegetable chips. Our favorite wines were the ice wine and the Cabernet Franc. They said their ice wine has the lower amount of sugar in the area so if you're like me and don't want it too sweet, this will be for you. I ended up leaving with a bottle of the ice wine.

We came here after hearing it was dog friendly, the winery is very nice and the staff were so friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend bringing your pet here to enjoy yourselves, we did a taste and had some great food with the wine, the staff were very knowledgeable and make you more interested in different wines to taste. Well done! I look forward to supporting your winery!

This was by far our favourite winery of our trip. The place is stunning and you can sit right by the vines and listen to the cicadas. The wine was, of course, fab but the staff make the place. We could see them all taking time to talk and laughing with each table. Jake made us feel really comfortable and relaxed and he recommended just the right wines for us. Your friendly team and welcoming atmosphere made us want to stay all day. Highly recommend!

Such a stylish vineyard. Great wine and delicious food. The vibe today was amazing. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the fire, beautiful view and some great music played by a DJ.

After visiting a few vineyards in the area we ended up at Stratus and it was by far the best. The setting is beautiful, the wines are top notch, but what really sets them apart is their incredible staff. Our sommelier, Anmol was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She truly appreciated all that went into creating these fine wines and loved sharing her passion with us. I didn’t expect to learn as much as we did and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience.

Came here today for part of a wine tasting tour and staff was amazing. They were so kind, took photos for us, helped us get a table in the sun and gave us such a fun experience. Noah was so nice, 1000/10 recommend

Went back in May for their wine tasting on the patio with my dog and had fresh kettle chips with one of the best charcuterie boards- their Brie & Prosciutto especially was one of the best I've ever tried of each 🤤

All the servers were amazing and super dog friendly! Would love to come back for another visit

I've booked a complementary wine tasting as a part of the wine club membership perks and I'm happy I did! Katherine was very knowledgeable, accommodating and kind. She suggested some beautiful and unique wines that we really liked. Particularly we liked Stratus 2021 white and Stratus 2020 Chardonnay and walked away with a few bottles. I would definitely recommend to book a tasting as a good weekend activity with an overnight at a nearby hotels:)

My family visited for wine tasting here and had a great experience with friendly staffs and great taste wine we had. Also they greeting my dog with bow of water. Very pet friendly winery. We bought 3 bottle of wine because of quality of wine is so good.

One thing: the cheese and ham platter so overpriced for the quantity, that we were a bit shocked. Does not suit the customers - take it as a good critique, all in all i can still give you the good credit, amd recommendation!

We had an excellent wine tasting. Mike was very knowledgeable and such a great conversationalist throughout. It was a great tour and the wines were excellent including such a surprising unfiltered Chardonnay.

Matthew is a true connoisseur who possesses outstanding knowledge of the various vintages Stratus has to offer. We were left really impressed!

Stunning views and delicious wine. Would recommend to book ahead of time for a tasting, perfect way to spend an afternoon. We went a couple of months ago during the fall/winter so it was a bit chilly, but, overall it was a wonderful experience. Their ice wine is incredibly unique, would definitely recommend trying!

Impeccable experience! Our group of 8 did the Sip & Stroll tour with Jack and it was amazing. He talks about the history of the business, their sustainability practices, and the production of the wines. We tasted 6 wines and they were all great, especially the icewine. The vineyards and their main house are both gorgeous. A must when you’re in the region!
