Il Gelato di Carlotta

Some of the best pastries we have ever had. We went for coffee but I ended up with an amazing cappuccino, two pastries and I walked out with my first ever London Fog. The owner, Leo, is a delightful person with a great story.

My first pastry was a pistachio cream filled croissant. My second was an Apple strudel that I saw come out of the oven. Most everything is made on site.

It’s my first time in Canada and I’m happy to eat this Gelato in Canada! :) Gianduia flavor was so amazing!!! I recommend it to People who like hazelnuts and chocolate!!

Everytime we visit Niagara on the Lake, a visit to see Marco at Gelato di Carlotta is a MUST. This is by far the best, AUTHENTIC gelato there is. Marco's calm and welcoming demeanor just makes the atmosphere such an enjoyable one. His espressos are out of this world!! Nothing can compare!

Aside from the little town this adorable place is located, the food was amazing especially the soups which are all home made. Wonderful winter warmer and great friendly service highly recommend. Also reasonably priced.

It's a cafe ☕ and gelato place. It's our little local hang for great Italian coffee and cappucinos. We go at least once a week just to hang. The owner is originally from Italy and she imports the coffee. It's a little cozy shop with a few tables, so we don't want too many tourists to know about it! But some tourists find it when they walk by. We love it, but we don't want it to get too popular that the lines up are crazy. We'd be sad not to get a table! As an fyi: it's a heritage type building on the main steet, and it is not wheelchair accessible and may be a challenge for those with mobility issues ie: walkers, because of the steps required to get into it. So please keep that in mind if this is a concern. Now shhhhhh, don't tell anyone else about this place please. We'd like our table available when we go 😉

this is the best pistachio gelato Ive tried outside of Italy! Ive tried many gelatos places in Toronto and this place is the absolute best for simple delicious pistachio gelato

Great alternative to the lines at Cow’s, you get Italian style Gelato with a lot of variety. Staff are very nice and provide fast service as their line can also grow sometimes.

The extra chocolate on top wasn’t worth the add on, didn’t quite like the flavour of it. Would recommend this place if you’re looking for gelato in the area!

I came here on a trip and had Latte and a cute pink gelato cake. It was very tasty! The waitress, Mr.Tyler, was very friendly and helpful.

Such cute spot and even lovely flavors of gelatos.
Affogato so worth it and so was the tiramisu gelato!
Definitely coming back whenever in the area.

Indy made us fabulous coffees! You know, my sisters family travelled from China. She and her family are impressed with the flowers 🌸 on their coffee! My other niece got her Master’s offers from top US universities! All coffees are beautiful and unique! Desert is great!

Great gelato 🍨 must have with a cookie on the side.. my kid and we loved it will definitely try the food and coffee even hop in by next to this cute little place 😀

Seating is bit less when crowded.

I've never had cherry gelato or ice cream as delicious as Carlotta's option. Wonderful staff and delicious coffee.
Worth the money.
If you ever find yourself in the area Carlotta's is THE ONLY gelato shop in NOTL worth your time and money!

We love their mango gelato and it's one of our go-to places when we are in Niagara on the lake!

Have you tried gelato with zero sugar AND also with lactose free milk?😳 Hehe, this place satisfies your cravings for gelato! I find their menu to be pretty special, they have all kinds of different flavours and also two flavours (vanilla and caffè) which are made of lactose free milk and sugar free 😌(using a sugar alternate). This time, I got the Caffè gelato with lactose free milk and zero sugar! 😗

I got it because I usually drink lactose free milk and really want to try what sugar free gelato is like! 😝It is no different from the normal gelato ngl. It is sweet and rich in coffee flavour and actually very yummy! I will definitely come back again! 🥰

Alphonso Mango ice cream tasted like the fresh mango from India.
My son loved the Pistachio chocolate bar.
Experience was so good that we had to go twice in 24hrs

My new favourite place for ice cream and sweets in Niagara. Great choices incl. vegan ones, and our favourite was mango stick, it was amazing. We ended up having it twice :)

It was my first time trying gelato (I know I know, where the heck have I been?!) and I’m so glad it was here. Their pistachio was heavenly and the mango sorbet had such an awesome texture! The service from Marko (I believe, sorry if I’m totally off), the Italian store manager was incredible and super friendly. Will definitely be back asap!

Delicious affogato and freshly baked apple strudel pastry. Rob is a gem. 3 tiny tables and chairs plus window bar stools. Truly touch-free payment!

We came here during long weekend and tried their pistachio ice cream cake. Great taste and cute store.
