Welcoming and kind. This church has a strong preacher who has a great understanding of the Bible and its message. Highly recommend to aid you on your walk with Christ.

I've been attending this church for almost 11 years and the Word of God is preached in a transparent, straight forward, encouraging and convicting way. There are excellent children's programs during the week and engaging Sunday school for all ages. If you are seeking to grow an intimate relationship with the Lord through prayer, study of the Word of God and pure praise and worship with a fellowship of imperfect people who are pursuing God wholeheartedly; this church is for you!

NFBC is greatly lacking in diversity. Members of the church and Leadership Teams are not open to adopting and embracing diversity. There is never acknowledgement or a feeling of being welcomed/accepted within this institution.
Members of the church, the Elders, the Worship team etc.... are very hypocritical and steadfast in their own personal beliefs.
Do your due diligence and research the church, it's Leadership Team, Elders, Y.A Leaders, Worship Team etc... and its members of the church before considering joining. The internet and Google are a fountain of information and a good baseline to begin with.
Perhaps the Leaders should take inventory of their own homes, families and lives before passing judgement on others and providing advice on how to live their lives and what is right and wrong. Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. As Christians you should be raising people up, accepting them not judging, segregating and belittling others. You yourselves are no better and are sinners as well.
It is a shame because the Pastor has passion and sometimes the message is good but I expected more from Christians and this church specifically.

Not what it appears to be.
Leaders love to show you how much they love the Word of God. However, their theology is a mile wide but only an inch deep.
6 years ago when I first started frequenting this church, there were families going through rough marriages and abusive relationships. Both are no longer here.
I bring this up because the church and its leadership try to help by dictating their, "biblical" understanding but due to poor followup and unqualified counselors it causes more damage.
I can testify as I too ended up being in a similar situation with less than stellar behaviors from the elders and pastor.
Shame really, some really good people go here.

Pastor gossips, elders are proud in knowledge, and do not follow up.
