Poppa Bean Coffee Roastery

Enough with the store bought beans that sit on shelves for weeks or even months, there's a much better option... Recently found out we had a local roastery, Poppa Bean in Vars. Since trying their espresso beans, they are my go to from now on, great flavours and lots of crema. Will definitely be trying out the different kinds. Highly recommended. Haven't had the opportunity to visit their location, but I pick them up from Foodland in Russell.

What a wonderful mistake I made this morning in thinking this was a coffee shop! I drove there after dropping my kids off at Calypso, looking for a good cuppa. I was greeted by the owner. He offered me a cup of his homemade cold brew, explained how to make it, told me where he sources his coffee and how he meets the farmers. He sent me off with a bag of Sumatra and a smile. Btw the cold brew was delicious, thank you!

My wife brought me back a bag of your espresso beans from Canada. We live in Oxfordshire UK and I’ve not tasted coffee beans this good over here! I make my coffee with oat milk and it seems to work so well with these beans. Shame your shop doesn’t allow shipping to UK! 🙁

Awesome. I ordered my coffee yesterday and voila...today it was delivered. No more of the grocery store plonk...I know plonk is a word commonly used to describe cheap wine, but Poppa Bean coffee is like fine wine to my palate. Thank you a thousand fold.

Picked a bag of the espressos beans up from the Westboro farmers market. It is a very good blend. Smoth taste that isnt too acidic. Love it.

Excellent taste and rich flavour, the smell gets you right away and wakes you up to the coming sips. I really like the packaging as well stays fresh and overall just a great bean. Way to go !
