Grand River Hospital

I went in for a bone scan on Tuesday and the staff were just fantastic. They were very caring and explained everything that was going to happen and when I had the injection, I didn't feel any pain. The staff member explained how the injection works and explained how I can manage the drug.

During the time between the injection and the scan we had a 2 1/2 hour wait. Since driving home then turning around and driving back would expend a lot of energy, I asked if I could lay down until they needed me for the scan. They put us in a room with a bed and a warm blanket heater, my helper and I stayed there and we were impressed with the care I was given.

I would also like to thank everyone in the Cancer Centre for their outstanding support; my doctor, the nurses and support staff all give me the best care that one with cancer would expect.
The assistance that I receive from the Cancer Centre is outstanding and my doctor is so helpful in aiding me in my journey with all the issues that I have been going through.

We had our first baby here last month and I cannot tell you how impressed we were with the entire experience. The nurses were beyond amazing (thank you Julia, Sydney, Angela). Dr Lee was also AMAZING and so were everyone else. They kept checking in on us before, during and after the delivery. I would recommend this hospital and this team to anyone! Thank you for making our first experience delivering a baby so wonderful!

I had an outstanding experience during my delivery at Grand River Hospital. The staff were incredibly caring and supportive throughout the entire process. As it was my first delivery, I was understandably very nervous, but the nurses and doctors provided exceptional care and helped to calm me down during the labor pains. Their kindness and professionalism made a significant difference in my experience. The hospital environment was positive and exceptionally clean, further adding to my comfort. Every nurse I encountered was not only highly skilled but also genuinely supportive and compassionate. I cannot praise the team at Grand River Hospital enough for making my first delivery such a positive experience.

Just wanted to share my experience in Labour and birthing/triage department. They really did a great job. Shout out to Sydney from birthing department for going above and beyond taking care of me and made me feel comfortable during my labour. I owe you a lot. It just makes me sad I didn’t say a beautiful thanks and goodbye to you. I hope life bless you a hundred folds. You’re doing a great job! And to all the staff/doctor who helped me during my delivery I owe you guys a lot! Thank you!!

Had the best and quickest emergency room experience we ever had, after my girlfriend fell off her bike. Registration was fast, diagnosis was fast, got stitches and X-Rays done within an hour, and we were out the door even before my parking ticket ran out. And everyone was super friendly, with us and with each other. A truly great experience, and at least a high point of an unlucky day. Thanks!

Sadly no one was aware of leaky muscles, leaky breasts, leaky gut and the mold microbiome connection.
They sent me home because blood was excellent and that is because I am vegan personal trainer and plants suppress gene silencing.

Mom told me that as a lab tech working at Agriculture Canada in the 7O's. And when I knew the body can heal itself with nature because we are nature.

Sadly I am vomiting blood a lot now 2 days later and choking charlie horse type feeling in my throat is getting worse and on the shins, top of feet, hips, kidneys and began in the small intestine where mold is found I believe after a colonoscopy here and again clean as whistle. Same with endoscopy. Nothing new learned.
Doctors there and mine wanted to give a mental evaluation because no one know what I am talking about.
I am a PTSD C-PTSD Peace practitioner supporting those during their moments of darkness and pulling them out of the mud.

I am leaving to drive to OTTAWA with the help of a fire fighter friend who knows how to remove mold from body and will try the 1/4 tsp of baking soda for 30 days while also fasting.

I was in Emergency last week and it was extremely busy as there are alot of sicknesses going around at the moment. From the moment I arrived until I left was only 6 hours which I think is reasonable considering how busy it was. The doctor I saw was very kind and thorough during the time I saw him and felt like he was professional and took the time to listen to me. Also, the older gentleman who was a volunteer was kind and helpful during the check in process.

My husband had hip surgery on October 30th. From his surgery to his follow up appointments I have nothing but high praise for everyone we encountered. Dr. Rhee has the best bedside manners on top of being a wonderful surgeon. All the nurses who took care of hubby were outstanding. X-ray technicians were friendly and big shout out to the volunteers on the second floor. Our first encounter was with a volunteer who was taking names to be assisted with the check in for their appointments. I even mentioned to this volunteer that it was so nice to be met with such kindness. Keep it up! Appreciate all of you.

My wait was long but I expected that. The ER Dr was incredible, the nurses were very kind and patient. The CT scan ladies were great !!!
What these nurses, Dr's and hospital staff go through & deal with each day is extremely challenging and they are all doing a fantastic job !!!

Every time I have to go to see any of the many clinics in the hospital, all the staff members have been great. Everyone from the volunteers at the front doors right to the doctors.

Had 2 kids in the newborn area - great doctors and nurses - did a Wonderful job- forever grateful to them

My husband just had a hip replacement on Monday October 30th. He received topnotch care from the day surgery on the second floor. His primary nurse was Tina, and she is a gem. Also he had two physio people assisting him. I'm sorry I didn't get their names, but they were excellent as well. From check in at 6am in the morning till he left at 6pm that night we were extremely happy with the quality of care from the staff. Thank you so much Grand River Hospital staff. You guys are awesome.

My son had his tonsils removed at GRH. The staff in the peds ward were absolutely amazing. Our nurse Shawn as well as the child life specialist went above and beyond. Our student nurse, Mia was also so fantastic.

I delivered my baby at Grand River Hospital this October. I had an amazing experience with the service from L&D and NICU faculty. All the staffs here are so kind and caring. My nurses gave me and my baby motherly love n care during our stay. Thank you so much everyone at Grand River Hospital. I really appreciate what you did for me and my baby.

I was in ER the other day and the xray team was super quick and amazing with the whole process especially Lidia who was my technologist!

My wife just gave birth to our first child here and every nurse and staff member was kind and supportive. The birth rooms were amazing, spacious and private. Apparently they were super busy with babies but it felt like we were the only ones there. So many answered questions and support going forward.
Food court had solid options, and as a helpless new dad it was nice to be able to support my wife on a full stomach.

Where should I even begin.
The staff in Pediatric were absolutely phenomenal today, my daughter had the most absolutely wonderful experience today after her surgery. Thank you to Ashley for being an incredible Nurse to our daughter. You made her feel so comfortable and safe in your care. She went on how amazing you were after we left and how great her stay was, so thank you so very much. All of the staff in that department were incredible. Also to the Nurse in recovery who took care of our daughter after surgery. A huge thank you for being so kind and wonderful with her. All together we had such a wonderful experience today and were super blessed to have you all there helping us today. And a huge shout out to the incredible surgeon we had. Thank you all so much ❤
