Wonderful food, great costumer service and cozy atmosphere. Good coffee and the nicest owner :) Can't wait to go back for their delicious Waffles with Eggs Benedict!

Perfect balanced food 👌 cook is a pro! 🤌 really tasty and pretty. We also ordered coffee latte with oat milk and been surprised we got what we wanted.
Be ready for a long waiting time but it worth a wait.

Excellent home cooked food! Really hoping they are successful for a very long time! It’s always been a nice restaurant. Really happy to see a business in there again. Run by folks that really seem to care with the product and service they provide! Good luck and we will continue to frequent this place. 😁

Amazing little place, they had chopped up French fries as hashbrowns blew my mind, lol. Everything tasted fresh and looked like the place to be for breakfast. We were happily filled when we left!

We were traveling through Clearwater and stopped here for breakfast. It is a wonderful place and delicious. Their homemade jam is to die for! Service is amazing… 10/10!

Had breakfast, home fries are amazing and they have home made jam if you get toast that is out of this world!

The beef dip is great. It’s made with real slow cooked beef on a fresh homemade bun. The peanut butter cookies are the best I’ve ever had! I’m a fan on the new location… much more comfortable to stay and dine in!

One of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been to. Emaculately kept to the point where yoy could just about eat off the floors in the BATHROOM. Not a scrap of food, spec of dust to be found. This speaks volume for how the facility is maintained including the kitchen - you know they hold themselves to the highest of standards. The food was great, service was excellent. Stopped here on our road trip and would highly recommend it

Just stopped at the beautiful Hungry Hiker Cafe for a coffee and a treat. Not sure what the days adventure will be but I know I’ll be eating my triple ginger cookie.

What a pleasant place to stop and have a bite to eat. Great atmosphere and super service. The cowboy soup was great and the ice cream and the cookies….it was all yummy! 😊👍

Came across this place during our visit and to our surprise, one of the best hazelnut vanilla latte and chicken wrap we’ve ever tried in our lives ! Warm and cozy place with an excellent host who will make you feel at home . Must try.

So you been driving down the yellowhead from Jasper and it would sure be nice to pull over and have a bite to eat or maybe a coffee. Right about the time I start feeling that desire, the Hungry Hiker appears at Clearwater, right at the roundabout at the bottom of the road to Wells Grey. The Hiker is a small but friendly place with the atmosphere of a log cabin. The food is really good. The owner Sue Ward makes a bunch of the baked goods every day. Along with the baked goods she serves coffee as well as breakfast and lunch food. The meals she serves are solid and tasty quality food. I really enjoyed that beef sandwich! In the winter its a place to escape the drive. In the summer you can cool off with ice cream or so I am told! I look for places like this to renew myself on long drives. I highly recommend it.
