Symposium Cafe Restaurant | OSHAWA

Had an awesome visit to Symposium Cafe in Oshawa this Sunday evening. The place was pretty chill, not too crowded, which was nice for a laid-back night out. They were running with just two staff members, but you wouldn’t even notice – they were super on top of everything and really friendly.

I went for the fried chicken breast with fries and gravy, and let me tell you, it was so good. The chicken was just the right kind of crispy on the outside and super juicy inside. The fries? Perfectly crispy. And the gravy brought it all together. Seriously tasty stuff.

Also tried the Caesar cocktail while I was there, and it was exactly what I needed. Really refreshing and just the right mix of flavors.

All in all, had a great time at Symposium Cafe. The vibe was just right for a Sunday evening hangout. Good food, good drinks, and good service. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in Oshawa and looking for a cool spot to grab a bite or a drink.

Amazing food and I am so impressed by hospitality given by Ferry. So polite and amazing. She knew the menu, offered great recommendations, and cared about guest feedback. All the dishes we ordered were delicious😋.

I met a client here for lunch due to its proximity to his home - and that was a great decision.

It's in a relatively convenient location with a decent amount of parking (as well as other interesting places to shop close by)

The menus are full of yummy-sounding dishes, and the food is very tasty and fresh - served in good-sized portions.

The service was excellent as well. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying more dishes off of the menu.

It’s a very nice place for family and friends! Very good atmosphere. Excellent service. Our waiter’s name was Thamira and she is very friendly and helpful. She helped us by suggesting good dishes according to our taste! We had a great time. We will definitely come back to this place!

I recently dined at Symposium Restaurant and had an exceptional experience, thanks to our server, ferry. From the moment we were seated, Ferry was attentive and friendly about the menu. She ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect.

The location is great with plenty of parking space. The staff was very friendly and were able to rearrange few table to seat the big group of 10 people. The food was excellent and the quality and quantity was excellent. It is kids friendly and family friendly restaurant. The staff ensured we were comfortable. One of the orders took a bit time to arrive so immediately they brought in complementary fries. This is great gesture of ensuring everyone is taken care of. The food was delicious and very tasty.
I will surely recommend this place for family and friends dine in restaurant.
The portion of food is served at restaurants is very good, so make sure you’re ordering what you want or please be prepared to pack the food and take it home.
Please don’t waste food.

I had a great experience here! The staff named Thamira was very knowledgeable about the food they had and recommended some great dishes for us. The prices were reasonable and very affordable. Overall, a great experience!

Hyperbolic? Yes. True? YES. In all seriousness I was on a first date and our server Audrey must have noticed I was nervous because it was uncanny how good her timing was. lol Food was excellent, I'll be honest I didn't pay much attention of the atmosphere for obvious reasons but the service is the only reason I'm even writing this at all.

Restaurants take note* hire more people like her. Without the great service B+ with it, A++. Thanks!

We had a lovey server (Aubrey) who was efficient, friendly and gave us a great Caeser Salad tip! Really nice experience. Food was fresh and ready in no time.

Great food, nice and quiet. Not too crowded. If the manager reads this, our server yesterday morning (July 22) was great! Could not be more impressed.

I had the pleasure of being served by Thamira at Symposium, and her service truly stood out. She was exceptionally sweet and engaging, making our dining experience not only pleasant but memorable. I couldn’t have asked for a better waitress.

This was our second time back and met all of our expectations, again. Really friendly service in a captivating setting. Our friendly staff Ramsey was awesome, not only did he remember us (6 months apart) he was still patient and shared helpful suggestions! His customer engagement and conversational skills are demonstrated with organic, comedic, and connection based. Great job Ramsey! I think he was the manager there if he wasn’t already.

The place is gorgeous - the waitress was amazing. Friendly and she had/has an amazing vibe. Definitely going back to this place. The desserts are finger licking good. What else do you need?

Server was very friendly. Great experience, manger came up and said hello to us and made sure we had everything at all times. Everyone had a smile on their face and the food was delicious, definitely coming back again!!

We enjoyed our family meal. The service was very good, every one loved their food selections and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The deserts looked fantastic.

Lynzee was an awesome waitress, she made a delicious Cappuccino while the Barista was away. Her service was on point, she provided great suggestions for our substitutions - we didn’t wait long, the food was delicious and she ensured we had everything we needed. It was such an enjoyable time out with hubby and she made an impact. We will be back. Keep being you Lynzee.

I love the Symposium in Lindsay. I tried this location for breakfast when they first opened and I was disappointed but so happy that I gave them another try. The menu is massive. My daughter and I went there for dinner and I ordered a veggie wrap and it was so tasty and filling. Ordered a side dish of sweet potato fries and warmed them up in my air fryer the next day because I was stuffed from my wrap. Service was spectacular. Now, I have to get over there for breakfast and try their eggs benny.

I had a great dine in experience. The staff was extremely friendly. Our server Ramsey was very welcoming and informative of the selection of desserts. The overall experience was very pleasant.

Manager, atmosphere, and servers were really amazing.The food was so delicious. Truly enjoyed my experience, will visit again soon!
