Just did a fundraiser “Ladies Night” to support a youth shelter here. The staff were so helpful and supportive. My friends and I had a blast. We actually chatted with one of the staff about another project we would like to try. Thanks for a great evening and supporting our community organizations!

I went in just to look at fridges the other day. Vivek approached us to ask if we needed help, and he was incredibly helpful. He really sold us on the offers that Home Depot had. We were so close to buying from a competitor, but he showed us how easy and financially beneficial it was for us to choose Home Depot. He is knowledgeable and was very patient with us. And just like that, he gained a customer. Thank you, Vivek!

I regularly shop at this store for renovations at home, every time I have gone in, customer services have been fantastic, I have received Greetings, lots of guidance from their employees, from paint to garden center to lumbar to tools. Everything has been excellent. Keep up the good work folks. For Management : Take it easy, when you see your associate busy with customer, give them all the time.

I went there with a problem in my Ryobi Grass Trimmer. Extended their support even at the store closing hours and a bunch of helpful staff surrounded and trying to solve my problem. Much Appreciated help ! Thanks Visit. I will continue to visit this store though it’s far away from my place.

Thank you to JD (Home Depot Manager) for giving us an A+ treatment. We bought a Whirlpool Fridge from this store, we had to wait 5 weeks for delivery which is normal. The fridge that was delivered didn't work, a week later, we called Whirlpool, they sent two different technicians on two different dates to fix the fridge. It still didn't work. Called Whirlpool to get another fridge, but we were told we have to wait another 4 weeks, we couldn't wait another month without a fridge, so we just ask for a full refund. They were only able to give us a partial refund and now we're also stuck with a broken fridge which we need to dispose as well. So we went to Home Depot to explain and see if we can get the remaining money back which we didn't get from Whirlpool. The manager, JD was very understanding and realized, we had a bad experience from Whirlpool. He gave us a generous money back towards the fridge to make this whole thing a better experience. We've purchased appliances from this store before and this is the first time that we had to complain but in the end it was a really great ending. Thank you again, JD for your support and understanding. I give your store a Five star!!!

I recently visited two Home Depot locations in search of a foyer light fixture, and the experiences couldn't have been more different.

At the Oshawa North store, a staff member claimed there were 12 fixtures in stock, but to our dismay, none were on the shelves. Instead of helping us locate them, the employee suggested we try the Whitby South location. Frustrated, we followed the advice, arriving just eight minutes before closing time.

To our relief, Tyler M. from the electrical and plumbing department at Whitby South stepped in. Unlike the previous encounter, he enthusiastically assisted us. Despite the late hour, Tyler diligently searched the shelves and even climbed a tall ladder to retrieve an unmarked box with the desired light fixtures.

Tyler's eagerness and dedication turned our disappointment into satisfaction. Kudos to him for going above and beyond, especially just before closing time. His helpfulness and positive attitude were a refreshing contrast to our initial experience at the Oshawa North store. Thank you, Tyler M., for making our visit worthwhile.

Had one of the best Home Depot shopping experience here! Our first DIY landscaping light project and needed support with Hampton Bay light products. The staff here greets customer and approach customers to check in and see if they need help (you don’t have to hunt down an associate like other HD) Glenda, Tony and Annmarie went above and beyond to help me with my landscaping project. They helped me understand the project scope with the materials required- wires, transformer, voltage calculations. Will be back again as service at this store was far superior than the rest.

Customer service was outstanding! I had to pick up quite of few items and customer service wrote down the isle number and bin no.

10 am Dec 15 2023: I needed to get a bulb for my range hood. The first young salesman I was directed to ... well ... he didn't look too happy about having to work there. He told me I could ask the appliance department for help if I wished and then added that they would send me back to him!! The gentleman at the appliance dept was so helpful. I wish I had noted his name. He did not send me back to the youngster. I had just been thinking that this is not the Home Depot I knew 23 years ago.... glad there are a few genuinely good staff remaining. Thx Sir (appliance dept)!

Went here today to rent a cargo van for our move. The service was absolutely amazing, super friendly and helpful staff. The cargo van was in good shape and the perfect size!

I always have a great experience at this location. The staff are always helpful and usually will go the extra mile to help you out with whatever project brought you there. I have not used the tool rental, so I can’t comment on that or the contractor services.

Erin & Taylor from Service Desk are amazing! Helped me with a last minute pick order at closing. I hate to be that guy but I had to be to finish a job for the next morning and they helped me get my order together immediately. Exceptional service, not used to this coming from the city.

Aaron in the lumber department was fantastic!
He was very helpful. He got us another skid of wood after seeing us digging through the pile. One of the most helpful associates I have come across.

Update Feb 2024: Gary, Tyler, and one of the women that I didn't catch her name are all so incredibly helpful and wonderful. Gary helped answer all of our vinyl flooring questions for a project that isn't on the floor. He said lots of people come in with ideas from Etsy and he helps them do things right and with the best materials. He was so kind and funny too.
2023: Easy to get your keys cut by an associate and only $2 more than Walmart but with way better and heavy duty feeling keys.

Best plant selection around. Knowledgeable staff, with a great atmosphere!! I'll be back!
