Sultan Ahmet Turkish Cuisine

First time trying and wow - we were blown away by both the food and the service! Came on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was quite busy but lots of seating. Many servers avaible to help - and honestly, all did it with a smile on their face! We ordered the grilled platter for 2 which came with the pita … pita was warm and fresh, crunchy and so good! The platter had a nice variety of meats + rice, salad and fries - it easily could’ve served 3 people. The food itself came out quite fast! Ended the meal with complimentary tea (which they offered refilled of) … would definitely recommend trying this place out, and will definitely be back!!

I've visited this place twice, and I was impressed each time. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Sometimes, they have Turkish ice cream at the entrance. The seating is perfect for big groups. The food is excellent. The servings are huge and taste delicious. We ordered the mixed grill for 5 people and some extra dishes, thinking we needed more for 8 people, but we were wrong. We were so full and couldn't finish it all. Can't go wrong coming here.

Wonderful service and wonderful food.
Detailed: We arrived as walk in customers and on a busy Saturday night of a long weekend. However, they were able to get us seated before the quoted 30-45 min time.
As soon as we were seated, we had our appetizers within minutes and our food followed very shortly after.
I have to say, it is a great experience all round. I highly recommend anyone visit and taste true Turkish cuisine and reasonable prices.

As a foreigner who has lived in Turkey for nearly ten years, I came to Canada to find good food. I was attracted by the pictures on the Internet. The business was very busy. 1. We waited for about 15 minutes. Every waiter looked very busy. 2. The price of 15 here is about the same as the price in Turkey. 3. It tasted great.

It was our party's first time at Sultan Ahmet. Mariia took the time to introduce and recommend dishes to us; after the food arrived, she always checked in to see how we were enjoying it and delighted us with her bubbly persona and positive attitude. The service here was efficient and everyone was friendly. We also got to sample some dessert and chai tea and ordered what she recommended(everything here was delicious). Thank you for a lovely dinner here!!

I came here with my parents after my graduation for lunch. Their food was very delicious and the servers were very kind and friendly. I'm very grateful they gave us complimentary dessert at the end of our meal. I'd love to come back if I'm in the area again. Some critique I'd mention is that it was really hot inside and our waiter did forget to give us water, even after asking. But other than that, it was a wonderful experience.

I can confidently say Sultan Ahmet is the best restaurant in town! From the moment we walked in, we were transported to the heart of Turkey. The food was a culinary masterpiece—each dish presented beautifully, bursting with flavors, and generously portioned. Every bite was a testament to the extraordinary quality and taste.

The ambiance was quintessentially Turkish, making us feel like we were dining in the vibrant streets of Taksim Square. The decor and atmosphere were immersive, creating a delightful escape from the everyday.

The staff deserves a special mention for their exceptional service. Maria, who served us, was an absolute star. She was not only professional but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on, enhancing our dining experience tremendously. Her friendliness and attention to detail made us feel right at home, especially with our kids.

One of the highlights was the complimentary tea and sweets offered after we received the bill—a thoughtful and generous touch that left a lasting impression.

If you're in Mississauga and seeking a dining experience that's a cut above the rest, I wholeheartedly recommend Sultan Ahmet. This place has truly captured my heart, and I'm sure it will capture yours too!

From our server Mariia, to the entrees, dessert, Turkish juices and tea, everything was phenomenal. The owner, Ahmet, also came out and introduced himself personally. We drove all the way from Detroit, Michigan and can’t wait to plan our next trip to see Mariia and Ahmet. Everyone was incredibly friendly and the cold baklava was to die for. My husband and I have been to Turkey and this is as close as you will get to authentic Turkish dishes. Every item on the menu was executed meticulously. Honestly, this restaurant should be rated higher than it is. I can’t recommend it enough.

Wonderful taste of Türkiye in Mississauga! Enjoyed dinner with friends on a Thursday night. The staff were especially hospitable and very knowledgeable, always checking in on you. They treated you like family! Even offered us complimentary tea with our dessert. Lots of shareable dishes and portion sizes were big! Adding this place to our rotation 😊

This was our first time visiting Sultan Ahmet. We had an amazing experience, thanks to Pushpita. She was friendly, professional and patiently took our order. The menu had the photos along with the description, which was extremely helpful for a first timer like us. The quality of food was very high. All food items were just too good. We ordered Sigara Borek (melt in your mouth but crispy too), Mix Meze Plate, Chicken grill dinner for 1, Spinach Pide, Kunefe, Turkish tea, Lotus shake.

Pushpita is amazing!!!! It’s my Mom’s birthday and accomodated us with the best customer service she can give. Everything is amazing! This is our 2nd time here and will definitely come back. Thank you all for making my mom’s birthday a memorable one.

Ahhhh! Satisfaction guaranteed, loved the food, ambience and service. The restaurant was packed but service was very timely and top notch. Great quality, amazing taste! Would recommend and would definitely come back. They should open more locations.

I brought my family for dinner this long weekend. I have to say it was the first time in a long time that we have had such great customer service. Pushpita and the staff were so attentive and accommodating.
The menu has something for everyone in your party. We ordered the special mixed grill and the doner pide, both were fabulous and huge portions. My girls loved the ice cream and the mocktails. The ambiance is perfect for family dining and the value of money for food was wonderful. Will definitely be back!

They were too busy so when we asked for something, we had to repeatedly remind them, they were nice and acknowledged, but would forget.

It was also odd to realize that reservations are exclusively online.

From the moment we sat down until the end the service was absolutely amazing. We had pushpita as our server and she was just amazing! One of the nicest people ever. She was genuine and asked us multiple times if we needed anything. We had their salad, dips, and meat tray which were all delicious! The tres leches cake is a must try! I am definitely coming back with my family!

Love this place, food was excellent. And Order taker Pushpita was a very lovely lady. She recommended a few dishes and we tried them, they were very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is good, one thing different about this Turkish restaurant is their fish item. It’s the only Turkish restaurant that has fish in their menu. The people are very friendly and nice. We even got desert on the house which was very sweet. Definitely recommend this place 😊😊
