Nations Fresh Foods

One of the best supermarkets outside of China/SE Asia I ever came across in the western world (whether UK, USA or Canada). Not only this place is massive but is very well organised: a section with warm savoury food to eat there or take away, a section with cafe type cakes to take away, whether big or small at great value for money, then a section with fruits, cookies, freezer section, drinks etc. They have all the stuff I came to love during my travels to China, Japan and the rest of SE Asia and some items are better value for money comparable to Walmart etc while other items are more expensive. Clearly is a place is worth shopping around and we were lost there for hours. Cannot wait to come back in the future and maybe I will be lucky to find Peking duck with pancakes in the frozen section the way you find in the UK for example. The staff can be from monosyllabic with a 'I cannot be bothered' attitude, to some who really do not know what they are talking about as you are looking for an item in a section they are stacking and they say 'we do not have this item' while you find it seconds later while some staff is very friendly with good English.

Our new neighbourhood Asian and International Grocery Store. Was really impressed after our first visit. Other than the Asian section which is formidable, the Italian, Mexican and other ethnic sections offer a great Variety. Store is spacious and well-lit. Sometimes gets a little bit too crowded at checkout but other than that, a fabulous grocery store.

Nations has remained consistently well stocked with beverages, treats, international ingredients, fresh produce and meat. In fact a lot of hard to get items like entire beef tenderloins and bone marrow... They are definitely my go-to store for both Western and Eastern ingredients. My only complaint is that they do not take credit card. They only take cash and debit.

Week in and week out, Nations has still remained our favourite neighbourhood Grocery Store for both Eastern and Western groceries. Their produce is always fresh and their selection of meat and seafood is top notch. Whenever they have items on sale, we airways stock up. Many great deals are to be had every week!

Amazing Asian supermarket. Prices were really fair and affordable compared to the one in Buffalo, NY. They only accept Canadian cash and debit, so for any foreigners make sure you get cash. They also have an ATM so that’s good.

Nations is a great Chinese grocery where you can find a variety of produce, deserts, snacks, bakery, and so forth. We like Chinese deserts, especially mango cake and strawberry roll from here. They have a lot of delicious desert items that you will get only in here. Moreover, they have a big corner for frozen and fresh seafood. The price is reasonable compared to other giant brands. We find that they have cheaper but fresh and rich collections of produce than other stores. I would definitely recommend this grocery store.

Great place to get authentic eastern cuisine and imported products while saving money on most fruits, vegetables, and fresh fish and farm meats. Try some favourite sweets from the east, unusual to western pallets, but you'll soon find a new favourite!

We have gone to the other nations for years. Happen to be closer to this one today and it's brought it up to another level 🤣

I can't tell you how much I love this place. It's so well organized and you can get almost anything here grocery related. Their food court is next level too with soooo much variety. The only thing missing is a larger sit down area with tables to eat the good food... We drove quite the distance to get here and it was worth it.

Always a pleasure going there. So much variety, so many cultural cuisines on display. Their cooked meals are also halal and amazing. Nice boba tea shop inside too.

We are visiting their garden center for last two years and they have one of the best varieties of plants you can ask for. All of them are reasonably priced and we'll kept. Note that they take only cash or debit.

The bakery is my favourite part of the store. I love the large selection of ethnic foods. Such a wide variety. I just knew I would find my Mauby there. Did not disappoint.
There's a huge food takeout counter. Packages to go. There's a meat counter at the back where all the freezer bins are.
I used to always go for the fruits and veggies. Good selection and prices. So much there! Go see for yourself.
They are very busy. Make sure you have your debit card or cash. Still don't take credit card.

This location is clean and organized. The variety of fruits and vegetables are fresh. especially the variety of mangos!! The self-serve food area is tasty and usually fresh. The free soup could have more flavor.

We bought some Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches. Within a few hours, we got sick. Within three days, we got a viral infection. The sandwiches definitely lowered our immune systems.
We are convinced that we will not buy banh mi sandwiches again.

We love this Nations but definitely no more Vietnamese products.

Great location and fantastic selection. It’s incredible how many staff are always on the floor stocking and clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

"Where east meets west"
As they have aptly put, it consist of the wide variety of all the eastern delicacies and delivers it to us in the west.
I have not seen a wider range of seafood options weather fresh or frozen anywhere else yet.
I love going to get random snacks from here as the range varies farther than the traditional options.

Now open is the new western kitchen which is an inhouse kitchen which cooks fresh halal buffet for purchasing. Prices do vary. They will provide halal certificates when asked.

Tbh in my opinion, this place is a better option in terms of service and variety then other similar outlets.

Much more inviting at this location. I am happy to say that it is a clean place with tons of space. Overall, the clientele is very diverse. Same goes to the products they offer (Halal, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Vietnamese, Thaï). They offer bubble tea and a burger station.

I went to this location simply because I wanted to buy a few tins of Ackee and they had it on sale - boy was I glad I was led here! The bakery smelled soooo fresh at 930am in the morning, the place was so clean and the workers were there stocking up and cleaning! I will 100% come back, it was only about a 15min drive from my home!

Nations for me is considered one of the best shopping spots in Mississauga as it suits all kind of taste as cosmopolitan shopping place.

The most is the prices are competitive and cheaper than other near by shopping places.

Their Deli and Halal choices are endless compared to metro or sobys

This place is like a wonderland. They have so much selection of middle Eastern and Asian prepared foods right when you enter that it's hard not to put some of it in your basket. As you go through the store there are huge selections of food everywhere that even for someone like me who regularly shops at Asian markets, it's like discovering something new every time I visit. They also have a huge selection of vegan dumplings and mock meats and a huge tofu selection.

Nations has a wide selection of international foods. You will find fresh produce, fresh meat counter and a seafood section that is not comparable to any other grocery store. It is a food centre of epic proportions. It has what seems to be an endless hot food counter with a variety of foods for every palate. The store is clean and well organized.
Once again, fresh produce and good fish market.
