I had read the excellent reviews of the Mad Hen. We went there for breakfast over the weekend. We came early enough to beat the line up of other hungry patrons! The food was amazing and the service was great. Highly recommend!

If you are coming here plan for a wait. This place gets very busy in the early mornings and slows down a little closer to 12. The service is amazing, they are quick and accurate. We went here for a later bfast and the food was really good. Definitely need to try more of the menu. Even debated taking some to go. If you are visiting you should try this place for sure.

Wow....best eggs benny EVER!!! The owner/chef is amazing. The atmosphere is vibrant and the wait staff are friendly, attentive and experienced. If you get over to Gibsons BC this is a must restaurant to visit!

First time here and happily full and satisfied. Highly recommend this place. I got the crab cake Benny with salad and my partner got the cream cheese, mushroom and bacon Benny. Both were delicious! Whenever I order poached eggs they are usually cooked wrong but these eggs were cooked to perfection. Service was great, happy friendly staff. We will definitely be coming back! Pardon the half eaten meals, it was so good i though half way through that I needed to write a review!

Went to Mad Hen for breakfast while we were in Gibsons for my son's soccer game.

Great little restaurant that's only open for breakfast and lunch. There was actually a line up to get seated this Saturday morning. Across the street from the diner is an amazing view of the marina and ocean.

Atmosphere was lively. The inside decor resemble old fashion diner with all the trimmings. Was very warm and welcoming. Washrooms was also very clean and stylish.

Kitchen is small and open and manned by 2 girls who were busy cooking up a storm. Even though the place was full and busy, we didn't wait long for our food.

Our meal was all delicious! Wished we had this diner in Vancouver!

Fantastic food! Don't remember the name of the Benny I had but it had smoked salmon, pesto and guacamole, whatever, It was fantastic lol

We ate here twice this Long weekend, same Server both days she was new there but was Fantastic, food was unbelievable and we had our Dog with us so they seated us on the Patio without a problem and got her a bowl of water. All the Staff were very friendly and kind, when I asked our server what she recommends she gave us a couple great options even though she has just started working there, we both had Eggs Benny with Greens...Delicious

I'm a local and have always seen line up's for this restaurant. For this reason it's taking me a long time to eat here. I finally did and thought it would be just a gimic place. But wow my food was good. Liked the decor and service was fine. It's a small place so waits are normal. I'd highly recommend this lovely place.

Lovely spot with great brunch food. Eggs Benny was delicious. I could see how well they run their kitchen. Impressed.

This was the last meal we had before leaving the Sunshine Coast and I'm very glad we did.

This place has a great atmosphere, aesthetic and vibe and the food is delicious. We both had variations of eggs Benny and they were fantastic.
We ate at the bar and it was really cool to see all the staff at work, and how clean everything is! They take care of their stations and equipment very well.
If you are going to have breakfast out here, this is the place to go!

What an awesome diner! Great atmosphere, great music, great service and delicious food. Had probably the best clubhouse sandwich ever! Our server Emma was amazing!

Delicious Breakfast, friendly hardworking ladies here for sure! Can't wait to come back and try lunch and their milkshakes. A bit of a wait to get in but worth it in my opinion. Would recommend!

An absolute gem! Arguably the best brunch I’ve ever had. Jenny’s crazy good crab cake bowl was indeed crazy good. The cutest aesthetic and a great meal, I highly recommend!
