Good selection of craft supplies, paint etc.Halloween, Christmas Decor. Staff was quite helpful. Wasn't crazy about all the self checkout stations. Coupons wouldn't scan properly, we needed to call for help a few times. Otherwise a great store!!

I think Michaels is THE to go place if you are an artist in Vancouver!
I am a jeweller and painter and I find both of my supply needs there.
The store is well-organized, make shopping faster!
In addition, I think the prices was better than other places I’ve visited so far

Quick Summary:
Honestly, even though theres not a lot of arts and crafts stores around coquitlam, this Michaels has got to be the best store overall I've ever gone to in my life. Like not even trying to be dramatic, but I may be a bit biased (I enjoy art lmao) The workers are extremely kind every time I go there (And usually theyre all different people but all equally kind) the store has a really calm atmosphere and everything is extremely organized, and easy to find because of the signs. They have everything you need in stock most of the time and everything is pristine.
Oh but one thing I'm a little bit annoyed about is the pen section because since theres like a sketchbook and the pens are out so that you can test them, they tend to run out of ink, but if you only want 1 pen you have to buy the ones that you can test with, so its a 50/50 every time I'm buying a pen, and most times they've run out of ink. So I think thats a bit of an issue to me but overall, a really solid store!

I enjoy coming here with my girlfriend for all her crochet projects. They have a great selection of different yarns and sizes, even if they can be out of order at times. The Pound of Love balls are a great bargain!

My favourite go-to Michaels - they usually have what you need in stock, and the staff are friendly! The self-checkout machines are a welcome addition.

Karen was excellent in helping us put together a matting and frame for two pieces. She made sure we were 100% happy and offered helpful advice and suggestions.

I needed a gold spray paint and it was in discount from like $30 down to $9.99! They were also open late and had all these t-shirts I really needed for some volunteers, as well as printable iron-on patches. They turned out great!

Whether you're just looking for color/cut refresh or a complete overall, she will take good care of you. The entire staff at JJ is focused on top-notch service. It's luxury at a reasonable price.

Wow I can’t believe I haven’t been at this store while living in Vancouver. It was amazing. I found so many items which I didn’t know I can find them at store. I thought I should order them through Amazon. It was enjoyable for me passing through colorful Aisles. Amazing experience

I went in looking for crochet needles and supplies and they had different sizes! I found what I needed. The store was not busy and they had self check out.

Just had one of the best shopping experiences. Not only were the staff just amazing, i got 50% off an already reasonably priced frame. Wish i had names of the two ladys that helped me. They were lovely! (cashier and lady in framing!)

Everything artsy in one store. From fabric right through to fimo clay. Reasonable prices. Free WiFi in shop so you can look up anything that you might not be certain of with regard to your art or craft. Friendly and helpful staff.

the staff at this location are very friendly. As we walked into the store yesterday evening, my husband and I were greeted by a staff member with a good evening and a wide smile. We were approached by another staff inquiring if we needed any assistance which we did and she helped us get the merch down from the top shelf. Then at the checkout counter we were once again greeted by the same staff member Dasha B who was very pleasant and friendly. She processed our purchases in a very professional manner and packed them for us. She looked me up in the system and saw that i had a $12 saving so she put that towards our final bill. We were very happy with the professional and friendly service we got from Dasha B.

If you are working on any kind of project look here 1st. I went in to pick up some things for a photo project and it was there. Noticed they had good quality t shirts as well and I needed a specific colour for an event they had that too. Picture frames and reasonable. Staff are very helpful and they are open late what more can you ask for.
