Need to give a shout out to Vince & Emily from Halifax Lacewood Store. Last evening I received the most outstanding customer service I have ever had in a retail store. Vince went above & beyond & was friendly & upbeat & eager to help me out... he called in Emily who was a rock-star in solving my ratchet issue & educating me along the way. Vince made sure I was well looked after & had all I needed. I had come from a heavy meeting & this encounter gave me a skip in my step! A million thank yous!

The best place to by 2x4's and other products like that. Stored inside and also seem to be better quality. Ryobi products go on sale at Christmas! For the price, Ryobi is the best buy for most people at home. (Never let your batteries get totally empty if you can, alway charge fully before winter if you only use in the warmer months) if you take care of your Ryobi batteries they will last a long time. Tons of great, reasonably priced Ryobi cordless tools!

Looking g for stuff for gardening. Bought a pepper plant a cucumber plant & a cherry 🍅 plant. Plus some green soil. Prices were good. Didn't have the varieties I was looking g for.

Staff is very courteous and helpful whenever trying to find something they always help us. Home Depot is the only soultion of my home needs.

Clean store, friendly and helpful staff, and fully stocked with everything you could need for a small to large scale reno. Bathrooms are the cleanest in the city!

Let me start by saying I like these types of stores in general.... Bigger is better, the selection is amazing...customer service isn't always awesome given its size but generally pretty good. Recently we have started a kitchen reno and these guys were great... Stephanie in the Halifax store was a marvel with the online planning tool...

This store / franchise has more than competitive prices, helpful pleasant and experienced​ staff. The selection in store is huge and online it's even greater with free shipping I believe.

This is our go-to store for tool rentals and home reno items!

The staff are always super friendly and quite knowledgeable, so don't be afraid to ask about specifics for a project; they might have some very helpful advice to get it done even better!

Parenting Pro-tip: check out their kids workshops happening once a month and the whole week of March break too. They are fantastic. Also, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
