Sobeys Lower Sackville

I'm giving Sobeys Lower Sackville 5 stars because one of their staff, Rosemary, was so lovely to chat with this morning when I went looking for the gift cards. She was telling me about how some days can be really challenging with people being downright mean to her and her colleagues while they are trying to work. She has been there since 1986 or around that, so I'm sure she's seen it all.

Anyway.

The point of this comment is to just encourage folks to take a moment and say a genuine hello to the folks who work in public facing roles. They take a lot of abuse from some people and just don't deserve that kind of treatment. Thank you for reading.

5 star for the sea food staff. I got amazing advice and services to have sashimi scallops and tuna, cooked delicious sushi 🍣

Great staff! Everyone is helpful and friendly and I am continually impressed with how the staff handles difficult situations with difficult customers/emergencies. Store is always clean. I do NOT like the self check outs but when I do use them the staff are always pleasant and great at helping as I lose my marbles.

The food is good and the vibe of the place is so friendly. The host took great care of us.

Been customer since 1971 Best for produce,and confectionery, always supplied shelves and informative and kind staffing,,never a doubt or worry about not able to find what is needed to satisfy the hunger,quench the thirst all in the single stop.
Has pharmaceuticals which make it great for shoppers to get Meds while getting your Groceries.
Take your time walking around, as you may find something for your family that you maybe forgotten about food wise.

Customer service is great, seafood department especially

Have been getting curbside pick up the last few weeks and the service has been great! Seems like a younger staff managing and executing this operation and they have done a great job! Thank you for helping me and other customers do our part in helping this community stay safe!

This is one of the best Sobeys stores. I was shopping there when it was a smaller store.The staff are really helpful. I'm saying this because my sister has worked for the store for over 20 years. The store is always clean which helps when you are in a wheelchair. The aisles are clear enough to get around and staff always very helpful with my needs. 😊

I had just returned from getting groceries at Sobeys and noticed an error on my receipt that resulted in my bill being just over $30 more then it should have been. I had used the self scan and had entered a produce number wrong. I returned to the store and the employee I dealt with was extremely pleasant and quickly refunded my overpayment. I left very pleased with the customer service.

Friendly and helpful staff, plenty of selection (fresh fruits and produce, to-go food, pantry staples, packaged food, etc.), and very clean customer restrooms. There's ample parking outside in the plaza and strong COVID protocols in place (gel and disinfecting wipes at the door). All in all, a convenient and great grocery store in Lower Sackville!

Great Selection ! Only store that carries my some of my favorite hard to find items.

Great. Had everything i was looking for (which can be hard because i have family members with celiac's) friendly staff. My littlest one loves the carts that are made up like taxis and racecars.

I go almost everyday and staff is always really friendly and helpful they actually have enough lanes open to keep wait times to a minimum by far the best grocery store around

A great location. Nice to grab some fast food or restaurant food in the same parking lot area, so very convenient. Has all you would need.
