Bedford Basin Farmers Market

So much desserts and food to choose from, the cafe was amazing. One of the best iced mochas I’ve had. Delicious grape leaves and a Greek chicken wrap for lunch. Only complaint is it was cold in the middle after being on the grill, but not a big deal. Tiramisu cake for dessert, so light and creamy with great flavor. Cannot wait to come back and try more items.

What a terrific market. They have all your basic needs, everything is fresh and lots to choose from. Lots of spices, herbs and teas. The cafe is nice. Everyone is super friendly.

Just awesome, a great collection of European 🇪🇺 products especially from Greece 🇬🇷. Fresh produce and variety of food items. Staff is very friendly and cooperative, especially Dimitri went out of the way to help us. beautiful, clean and well organized place with a cafe and foos choices. absolutely loved it.

Beautiful Location to eat and dine out. Lot of fresh food and local ingredients available, excellent parking facility with limit of 2 hours per vehicle. Irving gas station is just 10 meters from farmers market. Transit bus no 8 and 90 connects to downtown Halifax in 20 minutes. Adjacent railway track and mind-blowing view of Bedford basin from the market.

Food and flowers! My very definition of fabulous. What more could I want on a warm late summer morning! Oh! Pumpkins!

Great place for fresh produce and delicious baked goods. You can also enjoy a harbour view from inside or out while feasting on spanakopita and baklava or any of their menu delights. Stop for some garden greenery next door too.

Small grocery store and pleasant 2-story cafe with a view. Not a farmers market as one might think, but a good place to relax with a coffee and pastry. No laptops allowed.

Great place for treats, drinks and lunches. Also a good variety of pantry items, produce and spices! I’d recommend the mocha it’s delicious!

Very good find for me here. I had purchased some breakfasts and enjoyed them in their bright and beautiful upstairs with coffee and desert. There are lots of baked goods to choose from as well.

Lovely space to meet for coffee. Nice selection of coffees and treats. Looks like there is also a good selection of lunch food too. The upstairs seating area is bright and has lovely water view. And there is a small deck for sitting as well. Plenty of parking but the lot was almost full. A bit tricky getting back out onto the Bedford Highway and vehicles go fast along that stretch.

They have been improving the variety of ethnic products and even local options. I started buying apples here. Their pies are delicious and there are some really good pasta and spice delicacies. It's still a bit on the premium side of price but quality pays itself off. Don't forget the cafe and one of the best brunches I know.

Great locally owned market. Terrific variety...clean. Staff are most helpful. Great place to have a coffee or lunch with a friend. This market specializes in hard to find ingredients and imports the Greek oranges 🍊 that once you taste you will never want any others. One of my favorite places.

We loving making a stop at the Bedford Basin Farmers Market. We usually grab a Smoothie and shop for fresh fruits and veggies. The view from the lovely seating upstairs while you sip your latte or eat lunch is wonderful.

They have an amazing view and a very comfortable space. Their coffee is awesome and the pastry here is unbelievable. We often go to this butcher when we're going to BBQ. He's passionate about his work. They have amazing homemade bread and good prices on produce.

Attended a birthday party here and it was amazing. Even though it will not be available after August, you can book it up until then. View of Harbour is great. It is accessible as it has an elevator.

This is a lovely place in a really nice location, especially on a sunny day. The cafe overlooks the basin with a great view from the balcony, though it's intense if it's bright out. Good coffee and the cappucino not too frothy. The market itself seems like a good place to get your groceries.

Wow, very nice venue. While attending a wedding on the second floor. We had an opportunity to indulge in the basin view cafes dessert bar. Well we walked away with one of almost everything. The chocolate mousse cake was great. Chocolate cheesecake was over the moon.

Awesome selection of Canadian and international foods. Definitely stop in on your way through.
