New Asian Food Market

By far our favourite Asian grocery store now. So excited that bbq meats are finally in Halifax. Also love their frozen dimsum selection. But beyond their offerings, the management listens to feedback and I’ve already seen drastic improvements to their first few days of launch which was understandably crazy and overwhelming. I hardly see long lines when I go now but a consistent flow of people and it appears to be running quite efficiently now. Staff have all been kind and patient. Really no complaints! Prices are also reasonable. I send the prices to my mom in Vancouver who says they are all comparable to their costs there now. Food price increases are happening across the board but I haven’t seen anything that has been out of touch.

Fantastic Asian market where you can find any food item or ingredient for your Asian recipes. The vegetables are fresh and abundant. The meat counter is well worth visiting, and you can also buy pre-made foods right from the hot food counter. I did find the isles a bit narrow to navigate a shopping cart when busy, but manageable. The store is clean and well lit, and the shelves are always stocked with exotic food items from Asia.

A large and well stocked Asian grocery store. Aisles of all kinds of Asian groceries. Fresh veggies, meats, frozen food, dry goods, snacks and sweets, as well as a prepared food / dim sum counter. It was fun to shop there and we will definitely return. The cashier was also friendly and polite, taking the time to mention that she also enjoyed one of the candies that were a favourite of my wife's. A friendly touch at a busy grocery store on a Saturday.

Store was super clean! Staff were extremely friendly! Widest variety of Asian items I have seen in Nova Scotia!

I visited there to pick up some "Shrimp Paste with Soya Bean Oil".... (มันกุ้งเสวย) and found it... I was thinking of visiting it, but the need to find that one product gave me enough motivation to take transit out to the store and ... I was happy that they stocked it. The store is actually a fair size, modern grocery store layout... and a good addition to Halifax. I would however would like it even better if it were located closer - like the Halifax Shopping Centre area... maybe if they have a good volume of business at the current location - they can add stores in the future.

Although I didn't take any pictures when I was there because well it's a grocery store, this is by far one of the newest and nicest Asian food markets in the area. My wife being an immigrant has caused her to seek out a large number of stores and we have visited every Asian food market between the Annapolis Valley and halifax. Every time she catches a hint of there being a new Asian food market, she makes a direct point for us to go visit the market and this Market is by far one of the largest and nicest that I have personally seen.

I was very impressed not only with the wide selection but the cleanliness of the market itself, it is not crowded like most of the other markets and I really appreciate how nice it is. I will definitely be coming back here with my wife quite frequently because it is actually in a very convenient location compared to some of the others that we have visited in the past as well

Oh I can't wait to come back!!! Hand rolled shrimp won tons were the best! Went in for fresh Ramen noodles. Loved the ones we tried! I could have easily spent another hour in here... So much in here, hard to know where to look first. Amazing selection of pretty much everything!!

Might be the best Asian store in HRM. Fresh produce and amazing food court. Their BBQ meats and dimsum are amazing.

Comparable to any big city ethnic market for the variety, size and authenticity right here in Halifax. The best l've been to since Seattle! The first time l went there l shopped for 2 hours. Foodies paradise.

Aside from asian ingredients. This will be my reason to visit this market. They have Xena's pastries on the house now!! MUST TRY Ube Cheese Pandesal. I tried all ube cheese but this one is the most delicious and my most favorite you always want some more!

Such a fun shopping experience! Very reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back!

Lots of variety and good quality produce & meat, some sale prices that help with the budget. Check out lines move quickly. A pleasant shopping experience.

AMAZING! Finally a large Asian supermarket with ready-made and hot foods. I get the char siu (BBQ pork) every week because my family LOVES IT. For a family of 4, I get 1.5 lbs and then we make rice and veggies at home for a delicious meal at a good price.

Excellent options, location and staff was friendly.
This place is very busy so be ready for a few lines. Cause they have fresh love fish, and they make roast pork,duck, dumplings and more so be patient and be kind.

You don't have to be of Asian decent to love this market!!! Great store, fascinating to browse through. Good meat, fish and produce sections. Need lunch or take away supper? It's your go to!

Really good product diversity. Was able to find a lot of products I like as a non-chinese asian. They sell a lot of popular products seen in different Asian countries.

Aisles are very narrow, and checkout area could be more spacious. But it's okay because tiny building for many products. Layout is pretty good overall.

Product labels are sometimes inadequate. Like nutritional information+ingredients and product labels (sometimes the price label is shortened or not descriptive enough on its own), which kinda sucks cause I so want to try out new things but can't because I don't know how to use/cook with it. Could easily be solved with products already having stickers with the translation on top of the product words

Product diversity is already great so I would like to see even products from different Asian countries join the shelves.

Will be visiting often and very excited to see where this store goes! Owners seem to know what they're doing! ☺

Got the roasted duck today , it was the closest thing to pekin duck ,the skin is golden crispy and the duck is moist and delicious, Also had their boba tea and it was much better than other places in the city. Love their produce everything is always fresh and great quality and price
