BEST PLACE in Verdun for inexpensive fruits and veggies...Plus they have all kinds of goodies like prosciutto and tofu for a fraction of the cost at regular supermarkets. They stay open until 10pm, are super polite, and Eddy the owner is a gas. Even my kids LOVE going there. They always leave laughing and happy. Don't mind spending my money there one bit!

I absolutely love the owner Eddy one of the most generous person I met. When I go there i always leave laughing. And not to mention the super good prices UNBEATABLE.

This has to be my favorite fruit and vegetable store in Verdun. The produce is fresh, well priced and there is always a unique variety of stuff to choose from. The complete staff are always polite, helpful, friendly, client focused and kind and generous. The owner is a nice, loud and friendly guy who always places a smile on my face. I buy fruits and vegetables on a daily basis at this store. Very recently, I was given a few grapefruits that were yummy on the inside yet starting to go on the outside. Any business that would rather give produce away, free of charge to their clientèle, rather than dumping them in the trash, is a big time winner to me. If you haven't tried this fruit and vegetable store just yet, you are missing out. I highly recommend Marche Onkee.
