Sunterra Market, Bower Place

Sunterra is above and beyond with their service and quality! During my most recent visit my girlfriend and I just loved how helpfull and amazing the employees were. It's very infrequent in this day and age to find a supermarket that is local and with service like Sunterra but they blow expectations out of the water. We were helped by the most amazing employee, her name was Karen, and she did an absolutely amazing job helping us plan an amazing dinner (all of the ingredients and premade sides) So if you need groceries of any sort, and you want to shop local, this is the place!

First off, lovely service by Janne and Chris and every single member of the staff I have come across every time I've shopped here. They're always lovely and ready to help out.
Similar to Costco, Sunterra gives out free samples to try their latest product, such as their desserts, dips and sliders. They're always delicious and promoted by a knowledgeable and proud staff member! The salsa and guacamole are absolutely delicious.
This place is absolutely wonderful for anyone who's looking for a quick to go meal or a new inspiration for their next meal. I genuinely love coming here mainly for the kind staff and cheap meat!

WOW! This store is amazing. I live in Edmonton and this where Sunterra started. My wife and I love Sunterra. We shop at it regularly. They have great food and products. Love the bakery and deli. Everything is delicious and great quality. This store is in the Bower Place mall and it is easily accessible with lots of parking. My wife and I definitely recommend coming here. I could go on and on about great stuff here but just com and check it out.

Andrea is the best! She really makes an effort to connect with her customers and make them feel special. It always makes my morning better when she's the one behind the counter!

Made a stop at Sunterra on the way back home to Calgary yesterday. This store is awesome! Lots of friendly staff even on Easter Sunday, the bakery smells amazing, and there are so many things!

I love how clean and organized this store is. We spent a great amount of time at the store checking out a couple of different things, we purchased the butter chicken meal and it was so good!

I decided to check out the grand opening today. I've seen the coming soon banner at the mall and have been very intrigued as their opening approached. The staff was very friendly and made me rethink my grocery buying experience. Personable staff like Stacie were happy to show me products that I couldn't find anywhere else in Red Deer. They were proud to have small business and family owned products on their shelves. I tried their Alfredo in the hot food section and it was delicious. I look forward to trying more from their menue. If there is something you are interested in or want to know more about how they are different, don't be afraid to ask a staff member. The manager Ravi was very happy to answer any questions I had and made me feel like I was already part of the Sunterra family. I can't wait till they start their cooking classes so I can learn some new things!

Really good customer service by chef Robal and overall well organized store. It was my first visit in Sunterra Market. Just been there to see the store but ended up buying couple of fresh veggie samosas and chicken spring rolls for myself and my friends recommended by chef Robal. If you craving for really good quality Indian snacks and outstanding customer service then must check out this store.

the staff at any section you go to are extremely polite friendly and kind. Very attentive if you need something or help with something. Food is delicious!

I love this place. The selection, the quality and the people! The food options at the food counter are fantastic. Get a sample of one of their soups to see for yourself. (Psst: Try the beef barley).

My sister and I went here today not even knowing what to expect. What a beautiful market with fresh food of every kind. We were greeted by several people. The staff was happy and helpful. They actually walk you to the isle when looking for something. People were walking around with free samples. Then they brought us back to the deli and we tasted a whole bunch of different salads and then we had some lunch made for us. The staff just went out of their way to make our experience being there much better. This is a store that definitely understands customer service and has great homemade food.

Great food, selection and quality. Their bakery is the best, and their deli food is one of the best.

This is my go-to place for sausage rolls. One of each to give them all a try! I plan on spending more time looking around the different areas of the store. I really had no idea what all was in here. It really is a one-stop shop!

This is an excellent location, with great produce, some of the best baking I have ever had, including the pumpernickel Rye bread. The staff are very customer service oriented, and very polite and they know how to work hard and provide customers with what they need in a market. Customization of food in this location is Excellent, and I find the quality to be a very high standard. I recommend this market to anyone, especially those who are in need of excellent produce.
