Carlisle Bakery Plus

Popped in after a tough bike ride in the rain and was pleasantly surprised. Top marks for delicious food, great coffee and warm customer service. It is a long drive but we will be going back. Also, we paid $8 for two small coffees, two sizeable ginger cookies and two pecan butter tarts. What a deal!

I drive 40 mins to this place to buy fresh croissants, bread and desserts! It’s so good and delicious. Highly recommended place for freshly baked goods. The coffee is great too and the staff are friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

I live near downtown Hamilton, and just yesterday joined my folks for a drive down to Courtcliffe Park for a lovely dog walk. I didn't realize that the best was yet to come.

The Carlisle Bakery offers some of the most delicious, freshest goods I've enjoyed in recent memory, and service is as top notch as ever despite the ongoing pandemic. I had not expected the quantity or quality of what was on offer, and am already counting the days until I can find an excuse to go again.

This small one-stop business is an absolute treat, and I heartily advise anyone in the area to give them your business. You won't be disappointed~

My wife and I stopped by yesterday evening (Tues. Aug08), as we’ve driven by a few times, and always wondered what they were like.
It is a tad small (not their fault obviously), but they do offer many varieties of products considering that. We ended up leaving with a couple of items from the oven, some calabrese buns, a cold pre-made sandwich, some peanut butter, salt caramel, and empire cookies.
Both my wife and I agree that everything we purchased was fantastic, and much better than we anticipated from a small location, late in the evening. The bread, and cookies were still very fresh. The sandwich was very good, and the patty not overly dry.
And more importantly, the young lady who was looking after our order, and who then checked us out, was absolutely wonderful! Very polite, personable, and friendly. A pleasure to interact with.

In the country, it's hard enough to find ANY pizza place, much less a good one!
What a find! This place has great pizza and outstanding baked treats!

If you live around this area you know it is the cutest little bakery, the ladies at the store are so nice and everything is always fresh no matter what time I go

Great spot! We absolutely love their pizza, best around. We always grab one and eat it at the park across the street! Our kids LOVE their ice cream and watching all the cars drive by!

This place is the bomb! I’ll make it a point to go out of my way if it’s anywhere near a route I am taking. It’s some of my favourite coffee in the Hamilton area. The baked goods are also amazing, but the star of the food show is the chicken pasta salad. It’s my top recommendation for anybody that finds them selves in the Carlisle area.

We drive from Hamilton specifically for their butter tarts and cinnamon buns, both excellent. Everything else we’ve had here has been very good, plus they’re very friendly folks.

I usually go there for pizza but the baked goods are irresistible too. You can really taste the quality in everything!

Great little shop offering all kinds of baked goods and lunch items. The cookies are excellent and the staff are super friendly. This is a must try!

The Korean man working in the variety store attached is adorable. Happy friendly worker. Cute little place in the country, you'll want to check out the cookies baked there. 😋 Yummy!

They're open nice and early - which is very helpful if you're running to work and you want to support local! They're bakery items are always delicious, no complaints. Their pizza is pretty awesome too!

Amazing family owned bakery! Been around for years. Great service and the owners do so much for the community. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking it out!!

Awesome bakery +! Great pizza!** Sometimes they have their BBQ with hotdogs/sausages,** they Sausages, Jamaican patties and sausage rolls! GREAT COFFEE!!! And of course their baked goods are highly recommend! Their multigrain bread, muffins and croissants are our go to favourites!!!

Great little shop in a nice little town! It’s a family owned store, and everyone working there is so kind. They have fresh baked goods and lunch items too. The perfect spot on a summer day, and convenient stop while on the road.
