Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Love shopping ice cream and Asian groceries there.

The lady named Laxhita in pharmacy is really kind and amazing… really polite and quick to the service.

All the groceries are there but not according to everyone. As an Indian I found it hard to buy all the groceries here. Prices are bit higher than walmart.

Many gluten free cakes and options. I also like to buy plants from Sobeys. Its premium quality food is worth the money.

The store was clean and fairly well stocked. It was near closing and there were some boxes in the aisles for overnight restock. Not my usual Sobeys, couldn't find something, the staff were friendly and helpful.

8JUL23 - Went during more regular hours for a grocery run. Fairly easy to navigate the store and the sale items were well stocked. Nice little shaded spot for carts that's always empty so a good spot to wait for my ride. Also noticed there is a walk-in clinic on site.

Staff were helpful, store was well-stocked and clean, and plenty of parking nearby.

I put a 5 star rating up for this Sobeys months ago, but am now wishing I could change it to a 10 star rating. We have been evacuated from our homes (3 families) due to the fire in Tantallon and have been camping out in the parking lot here since. The staff here have been amazing. They have opened their community room for us to use for cooking, water for our pets, washrooms, you name it. These guys are truly the definition of community. Thank you!

Very Clean , friendly and courteous staff

It's a well-kept store. Nice clean, organized place. I'm just not use to the prices of everything here in NS, so I'm guessing all stores are the same when it comes to paying for stuff down here.. Overall, it's a nice store to shop at.

Great size sobeys with a huge variety of items. shelves are well stocked and the cash registers aren’t busy. Loads of parking.

Found everything I was looking for without any problems

Standard Size store..Traffic flow off towards the left. Good selection of ready made dinners....Aroma of fresh baking great to get while entering store. Store is bright and has clear aisles. Staff is friendly and easy to approach and talk too. Will always stop and you find something

Prices out of reach for most people

The staff at this Sobeys are attentive and polite, and I found the number of staff were ample when cashing out. Their Garden Center was lovely, colorful and welcoming, with a well knowledge male staff working there to point you wiithin their tent direction for what you specifically need.

Most friendly and helpful staff of grocery stores I frequent. They will bring (not point!) you to the isle and/or item you're looking for, even when it's not their department. Seafood/meat dept. will customize, answer questions and make suggestions with a smile.

Sobeys Mill Cove has a great Meat Manager. Great cuts & fair prices.
Buying from Sobeys is buying products from the Atlantic Canada provinces.
Their own brand products are great choices as well.Staff are always friendly.
Drug store products are also available.

I tend to go elsewhere because of the narrow parking spaces here, but I think it is one of the best grocery stores in Hfx for layout, quality, service and selection. Self checkouts are needed.

We had the best customer experience at the Sobeys today! Upon entering we were greeted with a smile and welcome from the security/ cart cleaner. We noticed how well displayed and stocked the produce and items are. The entire store showed pride of ownership. We found everything and more and the prices were good. However, our best experience was at the check out and our clerk Moustafa. He was so funny and courteous, his people skills are off the charts and we left laughing and feeling less stressed in this crazy Covid year and Christmas season.. We tried to find the manager to tell him that this team member is a real gem. He's one to be praised and promoted. People like him are so hard to find. Wishing Moustafa and the entire team at Sobeys a safe and happy holiday. To the manager Luc Legacy, well done with your amazing team. Went to a friend's house for a barbecue and stopped in for some beef dogs and Greek salads. The beef dogs were delicious and so were the salads. In and out with my groceries in a jiffy. Great place to shop.
