Dollarama

For certain items that are not necessarily based on high quality, it is a very good value for the money. For example, batteries can be half the price as other retailers and will be the same life.

Always a great deal to be had. Fun to go and look around as their inventory changes all the time.

So many things in the Southgate Mall Dollarama, and so many new and quality things (that dollar stores usually never had) that it takes about an hour to just look around and choose the things you want to buy.

I usually buy the painting canvases from here, because these prices are just a fraction of the canvas prices from the art and craft stores. Even the DecoArt paints (which are perfect for fluid arts) are much cheaper than one would find anywhere online.

But, to my surprise, there are other stuff too, like Christmas decorations, leather gloves, premium quality socks, LED bulbs (which are, again, a quarter of the price you would find elsewhere), and many more household items.

It's huge, we need more dollaramas with quality stuff, staff is helpful, lots of variety.

Good location, with a wide variety of goods. It is very similar in terms of layout to the city centre location. Tons of books, and gift needs. I was looking for a set of raffle tickets for my community league, and they had plenty to choose from. Staff are very nice, helpful and friendly here. Be advised that this location is very busy, so don't be surprised about crowding.

When in need of an impromptu spatula, necessary spice for a quick dinner or some discounted sweet and slaty snacks before a fine feature film. It's no surprise it's the fast growing grocer in the west.

This place is a nice place to go to. The staff are all nice and helpful. Plus the store is always fully stocked. New items to see almost every visit.

Great place to shop! Really! Prices are good as long as they don't get greedy which is common in so many other places to shop lately.

I'm not a big fun of dollarama but this one I liked the service. They have cashiers not like the one on 104 street and 80 avenue right beside no frills . You have to really be careful and not overpay as you might find the products at a better price somewhere else. I like glass salads bowls, as I find they are good prices. Utensils for the kitchen as well. Lately I found plastic flowers beautiful that some of them look real at good prices. I'm really careful though when I but at this stores as not everything it's a good deal. Good service here though.

Has an elevator to get down, right by the exit and great selection for arts and kitchen items. However I wouldn’t recommend it for party supplies as that section is very limited.

Arrived when they opened. Shelves were fully stocked. Except for toilet paper and Kleenex. Staff is very pleasant.

My fave dollar places. I mean u can get quite a few items at least half the price from regular shops.

I love, love the dollar store. For stationary, picture frames, work out equipment,kitchen utensils, personal items, body wash, etc. You name it!

It's a dollar store. I buy a lot of random household things here because they're cheap and the location is convenient. Can't complain.

Good selection. It's always super busy here but never end up waiting long in line
