I enjoyed shopping at the store for my grandson's school needs. I enjoyed some good sales and really cute items. The gal who helped me was so patient and helpful. She was happy to get out of reach items for me to see. The Pikachu backpack and cute Jack the Pumpkin King cap were fun items to make going back to school fun! Will definitely check out their stuff for cool christmas gifts!

Good store only they need to show the fact this store has adult things more clearly so people dont take kids in to the back and end up in all the sex toys.

In college now and I can say that this place isn’t as cool as it seemed 2 years ago. On my way to school or going home I have to take a bus at the Oshawa Centre Terminal so sometimes I go and look at what keychains and wallets they have. Never felt less welcome in a place of business in my life the staff are always creepily staring at you and you can feel it, and the associates who stock products on the shelves speak to you like they want you gone pronto.

We were just in the store and my kid wanted to buy a button, but we were short a nickle on tax. It was a $2 button. When asked if it was okay, the young person at the counter expressed concern they would be short a nickle at the end of the night. It says everything about a company's priorities when staff are worried about coming up 5¢ short at the end of the night. Except, the till isn't short a nickle now. It's short $2.25 and there's an unsold button on the shelf. And one less future customer. But I guess Spencer's puts more value on nickles over dollars.

Terrible experience. So today I went to the mall and have been there many times. Only 1 store has refused me entry against the by-law medical mask exception previously which was bikini village. The young lady at the entrance to spencers let me in without a mask. I was wandering around the store shopping for about 10 minutes when a guy with glasses, I believe he has red hair approached me telling me I have to wear a mask. I advise him that I have a medical exception. He leaves. About a minute later he comes back telling me I have to leave the store. He said its the store policy for no exceptions however I was let in the store and I was in there a few weeks ago as well with no incident. This is such BS. I used to love this store but I won't be going back. Just a warning that if you have a medical disability this store or at least this employee under the guise of "store policy" will marginalize you in public, in front of other shoppers and discriminate against your disability.

Was a good place to go to but when we were inside there was a female worker who was complaining to us about the noise we were making. I was buying a gift for my brother and my friend had been mindlessly bouncing it between her hands. Honestly wasn’t making a lot of noise. I otherwise would have no problem stopping the noise if she asked politely. It was background noise at that point for us, neither of us noticed it. I work at a Pet Store. If there is anything I’m used to it is the squeaking of toys. But she was very rude and snippy to us. I was going to buy things there but we left empty handed because of how rude that one woman was. Other employees were great, it was that one very rude employee who ruined my experience.

staff don’t communicate and multiple tell me different things in one trip, also they forgot to remove all my security tags (literally the most basic of retail tasks lmao i would know!!) and if i try to remove them myself it’ll ruin my clothes 😍 please employ more competent people

Very dissatisfied, I have been waiting for 3 months calling once a week for the oshawa store to get their seat buckle belts off the top over stock shelf and put on the shelves for sale, only to find out that they haven't even had these in stock in their store at all for the past few months, it would be nice just to get an honest answer instead of being lied to about having them in the store. Very disappointed and will not be going back!

Very unfriendly staff. Was looking at something and got yelled at for standing there looking at it. Very unhappy and will not be returning.
