The staff were knowledgeable in root propagation and were very helpful overall. Kent is also a dog friendly store which helps during warm weather errands around town. Their garden centre has a good variety of perennials and annuals.

I love Kent! The team are attentive and helpful, it's well stocked for my needs and the layout is easy to follow to find stuff. When we needed help finding things, we found helpful advice.
It's also dog friendly and I like that people weren't pushy about petting and saying Hi when we were busy looking for things.

Love that I'm allowed to bring my dog into Kent he's 16 years old and doesn't like to be left alone in the car .oh ya Kent has some great deals I got a 3 piece couch love seat and recliner for a great price new this year 2022 June drove 1 hr to buy some deck furniture picked it up drove 1hr home opened box to assemble it and missing 3 very important parts I call back they can't get another 1 for a week or 2 not good Canada day weekend is this weekend I drove 1hr back took the floor model so I could have something for Canada day not even were sorry for your inconvenience from the manager nothing $70 gas and hrs of my time and nothing I don't think I will use kent ever again.

A good sized hardware store close to my house, so I go here a lot for home and garden stuff. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Surprisingly good prices on furniture. Got a bed and mattress for the spare bedroom for super cheap.

Showed up 5 minutes before closing (I know. I know.) Everyone was super helpful and friendly anyway. They even made sure I got all I came for before I left. I felt no pressure to hurry. Great prices too.

Has everything you need and more. Better than home Depot. Same idea..over priced but they do have more selection. I go in and just walk around and check out prices and compare them to online before I purchase. Friendly staff.

I have been shopping at Central for 15 years and having lived in several places across the Maritimes, these guys were the best of the best. Project desk team is amazing, store staff pretty great too. Seeing Kent take over has me a bit nervous. I have used the Kent store in Truro a fair bit, and that store seriously pales in comparison to the team in Stellarton. I hope the Kent guys are humble enough to recognize the success formula that Central has proven and keep it going!
