Igloo Beach Lodge

Amazing boutique hotel! Super close to the beach and the restaurant on site has delicious choices. Service was superb all around. Special thanks to Leo (hotel manager) for going above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable stay:) Highly recommend

My husband & I spent most of our Babymoon at Igloo Beach Lodge and it was absolutely perfect. We loved having our own Igloo, with amazing air conditioning! It was fabulous being a very short walk away from the beach and other restaurants. The pool area was super inviting and had plenty of lounge space options. The attached restaurant had excellent breakfast choices and yummy food and drinks throughout the day. And it was wonderful being greeted with a welcome drink. We highly recommend staying at Igloo Beach Lodge 🌴🦜

It's a beautiful hotel right by Espadilla Beach and within walking distance to the Manuel Antonio National Park. The rooms are well air-conditioned and provide plenty of room. I really loved the decor. It is located at the bottom of the hill, so it is a bit of a difficult hike towards Quepos or anywhere in between to eat. But there are taxis readily available (only 3 Ubers apparently, so they're not as accessible) and also the public bus.

One of the things that can be improved was that there is a slight crack at the bottom of the door and it let ants in from the outside but it was only a couple and I could just kill or brush them out. A millipede also got in one day, but they're not harmful so I just let it out. And shower curtain would be great- I found myself showering in the corner to prevent water from splashing all over the toilet area.

Very cool igloo concept. We were able to see monkeys right in the backyard which was an amazing experience. Hospitality is top notch as well, very friendly people.

We came to Costa Rica for my birthday and Igloo Beach Lodge added to the magical experience & helped to make this debut trip a success. The entire staff was friendly, very helpful, resourceful and respectful. The igloos themselves are hella cool, the pool refreshing and the restaurant was quick and delicious. I cannot recommend this spot more. And being a quick 2 minutes walk from the beach makes this the place to stay.

My wedding group had such an amazing time here. I would recommend this place because of it’s location: close to the beach (3 minute walk) and close to National Park (10 minute walk).

You also get amazing service from the moment you check in until the moment you checkout. Everyone is so helpful.

I recently stayed at Igloo Beach Lodge and I must say, the ambience was amazing. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious welcome drink. The staff made me feel welcome despite my limited Spanish speaking abilities, as they were able to translate for me effortlessly. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The breakfast and lunch options were delicious and reasonably priced. The best part was having a beach just a short 3-minute walk away from the lodge. I highly recommend Igloo Beach Lodge for anyone planning a trip to Costa Rica. It truly exceeded my expectations with a rating of 10/10.

What a beautiful hotel, the perfect launching pad for the days adventures. Lots of restaurants available by walking up the hill or a quick bus / taxi ride. Located at the entrance to the beach and where I saw monkeys and scarlet macaws. The rooms are beyond cute, clean and super comfortable. Staff were amazing. Would stay again should I return to Manuel Antonio!

Beautiful place, I was welcomed by a lovely receptionist , very friendly. We were welcomed with a yummy drink, and the rooms are freshly clean, air-conditioned. It is three minutes away from the beach and there is a happy hour at 7 o’clock which makes me very happy.😊

Fantastic place to stay while in Manuel Antonio. The rooms are super cute and super clean, the AC blows cold, the restaurant up front is fantastic, and the staff is extremely attentive and very nice. The rooms come with toiletries, towels, natural soaps and if your missing something the staff will take care of it. There is also a mini market right across the street which is very convenient. The Igloos are located a few feet from the beach. Very highly recommend and I've been to Costa Rica 5 times now, don't miss this place it's fantastic!

Absolutely loved our stay at Igloo Beach lodge. The food at the restaurant is superb and big portions. The room was big (two of us stayed in the quadruple room), very comfy beds and I loved the style of the whole hotel (wooden tables in the restaurant, glowing ball lights in the pool area, murals). We went on a tour and some others said they had no hot water at their other hotels but we had a full hot shower which we were very thankful for! The location is perfect for the beach, and we even saw a sloth just outside the hotel. The staff were all wonderful and super welcoming, especially Alejandro, Irene and Gabriel. We were sad to leave! Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing Views right next to the beach. Cozy rooms with essential oil diffusers. 10/10

We stayed for two nights during summer season. The room where big equipped with two beds , super clean, i even was lucky enough to encounter family of squirrel monkeys 🙈, I recommend very much.

One of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed at and for an amazing price!
The style is magnificent, rooms are very clean & cool, beautiful pool & senery, the beach is a 30 second walk, staff is so sweet and happy to help. Also the food is SO good!!!! I am 20 years old and stayed here by myself and felt very accommodated for & safe! Could not say enough great things & definitely will be staying here again.

I enjoy my stay. The experience began with a welcome coconut drink. The pool/garden was amazing. The flowers were so beautiful. The pool between the igloos was just the perfect temperature. The igloos were great. I enjoyed my "princess" as they call it room. I had everything that I needed. The hotel is a 2 min walk away from the beach. The hotel also provides beach/pool towels. The staff was extremely friendly. They even bring us cocktails around the pool. The restaurant on the property is a bonus and trust me everything was delicious.

Loved our stay here. Everything was great. Service is exceptional. Staff super friendly. Food and drinks were also great. AC in room works great. Rooms cool off quickly and stay cool . Pool is clean and does not smell like chlorine. It’s awesome that they have happy hour all day at the beach. Basically everything one needs for a good time. Would definitely stay here again

Very special place. Every room is a separate building in a form of a dome, with very nice acoustics inside. Very clean and air conditioned. Very nice staff will meet your needs. Wi-fi sometimes weak and no local TV channels which would add colour to the trip, but who cares when you have amazing garden and the whole forest outside. Monkeys and a variety of birds can be seen outside. We will be back. On site restaurant serves great food and drinks. I will review the Restaurant separately as we are very pleased with our stay and food.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The staff is so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, cool from the hot days and they had staff consistently cleaning the property. The beach was very close, they provided towels and food/drink service from the hotel. Would definitely stay again!

Great place with the beach path to wall down. Customer service was great and l was able to go parasailing for reception called in for me. That was an AWESOME adventure! The car to go Parasailing picked me up and brought me back. There is a bus stop in front of the lodge that can take you to other places or reception will call you a cab. The food was DELICIOUS! It is a great place to relax. Highly recommend it.
