Restaurante Buru Seaside Manuel Antonio

This place is a gem! If you’re looking for a great dining experience on the beach, you have it here!. We had our breakfast here while on vacation. Great experience from start to finish. The venue is beautiful with views of the ocean. Bathrooms were clean. Outdoor dining area has a very tropical vibe. The staff are friendly and attentive. The service was flawless. The food was delicious and presentation was on point. The freshly squeezed orange juice is happiness in a beverage. They serve coffee perfectly and I could rave on and on about the fresh fruit offerings. The staff is professional and attentive! I cannot recommend checking out this place enough if you're looking for a low key but very upscale dining experience.

Good stop on a very hot day. Menu has a lot more fresh local seafood than the others around, the fresh calamari was very good, you could tell it was cooked fresh from whole squid rather than the frozen stuff you normally get.
The Casada (I went for chicken) was very good too, better than a couple of others I'd had on our Costa Rica trip.
My wife had the Tuna which was cooked just right and tasted great, overall the best lunch we'd had.
Staff very friendly and happy, and the service was pretty quick, the prices reasonable too, especially considering it's right on the main seafront with great views over the Pacific.

I always get the fish tacos when I’m here. Simple, fresh and delicious. It’s a good spot for lunch or sunset. They often have 2 for 1 drinks. Hierba Buena (mint) Lemonade is always refreshing after a day in the sun. Anywhere on the beach with this view is going to cost more, this is a touristy spot. They have live music. I see many reviews talking about poor service. You’re on the beach in another country, don’t expect 5 star service. Speak up if you need something. Then you will get it. Don’t sit quiet and complain later.

After a long beach walk under the sun, super fast served beer was perfect, thanks for that!
Then I had a pasta with shrimps which was delicius. Location is perfect just front of the beach. Strongly advised.

We are ethical vegans, and we don't usually cross-contaminate, but in CR, it would be impossible to eat. The staff here were so helpful in getting us fed terrific vegan food. Excellent portions. Yummy patacones!

Wonderful dining experience on the upper floor overlooking the ocean and of course the precious monkeys.
Chips and pico were delicious! Yummy Pina Colada too!

We just had a meal here. I had tuna steak (6/10) but I was really impressed with my partner’s veggie pasta. So much I ordered a shrimp pasta as well! Amazing. I’m a trained chef and would have been pleased to have served this! Nice place, over liking the beach. Attentive and friendly staff. Recommended!

Family and I stopped at this restaurant one evening when they were so many to choose from. It was appealing to dine here because we were allowed to look at the menu without have somebody pestering us to sit down. I'm glad we decided to eat here. The service was outstanding and the food was great. The cocktails were 2 for 1 and they were just every bit as good as I expected. I would highly recommend stopping here enjoying food, drinks and company. Great team here!

We stayed close by to this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We enjoyed the live music. The whole fried red snapper I ordered was very good. They were running a happy hour so we got 2 mojitos for the price of one. The drinks were also excellent. I recommend this place.

Excellent service and really tasty food. Went in during happy hour and got 2 for 1 drink. Drink was great quality not watered down as one might expect for the 2-1 price. Came in second time around for lunch and the food was as delicious as fresh. Restaurant is right next to the beach and close to Manuel Antonio Park entrance. Pura vida at its best 😊

Right in the middle of it all! The food is very good and well prepared, but the biggest attraction to this restaurant is its location. Situated at a busy corner right in front of the beach, you can watch the locals hustle the tourist, enjoy the Beautiful sound and view of the waves, a nice cup of coffee. We had breakfast and everything was prepared just as we asked. Breakfast burrito and an Americana... Yummy!

We went here twice during our week stay in Manuel Antonio. The restaurant has an ocean view, good happy hour drinks/prices, and entertainment. The food was good and the servers were nice. We enjoyed our food and drinks & glad that we were able to listen to the band during our visit.

This is a great place to stop after Manuel Antonio. We have eaten here 4 times now on different trips. Food is really good and the service is even better. We had the Mariscada which is often so-so, but this was full of fresh shellfish and fish. My wife had the whole fried fish which was excellent.

i got the special of the day - tuna tacos and they were some of the best I’ve ever had! The ceviche was also excellent. A little pricy but it is right off the beach and has great ambiance.

Dinner was fantastic, specially the Filet de Pescado en Salsa de Maracuyá (Passionfruit). Drinks were delicious. Emerson our server, was so attentive and personable. Great vibe & decor.

We came to eat here after a full day on the beach 2 nights ago. It was a 5-minute walk from our hotel. We sat upstairs. My son ordered a simple pasta with tomato sauce, while my husband and I each ordered casado pollo. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the peppers and onions with it made it taste like a tasty chicken fajita mix. There was live band playing classic English rock songs. We loved our food and the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this spot.

The coconut curry mah mahi with jumbo shrimp, potato's and veggies was perfect and the best thing I have eaten in Costa Rica. Emilio our server was very attentive. Great place to watch COPA too!
