Posthotel Achenkirch

Honestly, the craziest hotel I’ve ever been in in this category. It is just stupidly luxurious. The Spa area is the best I’ve seen in 20 years. The whole hotel feels like a seperate town. Everything is on another level.

I visited during the winter. Snow could become more and more of an issue.

This is an amazing hotel. The location, the staff, the facilities and the spa are all top notch. I would highly recommend this hotel.

That has been our second time at Posthotel and we very much enjoyed it. The rooms are clean, the food is delicious and the staff is amazing. Our very special thank you to Valentina who made our stay so memorable and she went above and beyond.

We stayed there for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Staff was really attentive, and food served (breakfast, lunch, dinner) was excellent. The hotel has plenty of pools/areas to relax indoors as well as our doors. The rooms were clean, and spacious with a nice balcony facing the mountains. Would def go there again.

What is it that makes the Posthotel our new favorite? Is it the historical building with it's unique atmosphere? The very well maintained (and huge) pool and sauna zone? Maybe the great kitchen that focuses on local products? The wonderful spa with it's high class treatments, done by the most gentle and caring therapeuts? The fact that I've sat the first time on a Lipizaner Horse or that last but not least my love said yes when i asked her to marry me? Maybe it's all this but everything is held together by the most charming, kind and refreshing staff we got ever taken care off by.

One of the best if not the best 5 star hotel in which we have been so far. This family owned and managed wellness hotel leaves no wishes unsatisfied. The rooms are spacious and clean, the food is very healthy and delicious, the service makes you feel at home, everywhere there is a very pleasant smell from the candles, the offer of pools and saunas is probably the best in Europe and there are daily activities organized. Even the employees have their retreat center. I can only say that we will surely come here again.

By far one of the best hotels I've stayed in Europe. The resort is huge and has a lot of facilities and services that are geared towards having a relaxing and wonderful time. The food is amazing and has a wide variety of dishes that are of highest quality standards. And the staff is helpful and friendly and will get out of their way to help you have a great time. If I can give this place a 6 star rating I would. Definitely recommend it and I'm definitely going again.

Wow, one of my favourite hotels in Europe The kitchen is amazing a very relaxed atmosphere with a huge Wellness area. For any fans of the Alps, this is worth checking out. Golf, hiking, MTB riding horse riding... The list goes on Also to note, young children aren't allowed, so the whole hotel is quiet. Families should look for other options

Wellness Hotel, perfect for family reunions. Great food choices (even vegan and gluten free ones), professional service. Evening programme and various activities included. (photography, hiking, horse carriage tours, ect.). Free fitness classes every day and so many different steam baths and saunas that you can barely try them all in one weekend. Style of furniture and decor is modern but rustic. No kids under 14 allowed.

My favorite place in the world. Great service, great food, great location and add on that they have horses. Staff are very welcoming and nice.
