The menu is extensive and then service very fast and efficient.

Very friendly staff there and surprisingly speedy service 🫶🏻 we ordered 2 beer 🍺 abd pretzels, roasted chicken and schnitzel- classic German style and tasty. Beer is sehr Gut 👍🏻 and cheap

Even if this place served only water, it would be an incredible venue. But luckily they make delicious beer. On a beautiful lake in front of a historic building in a cute town, this is a special location for a beer. Quite busy on weekends and holidays, it's still worth the trip.

The food was amazing. The waiter is also very nice and trying to help. Totally recommend.

My family lives in Tegernsee and we come here whenever I’m in town. They have some of the best beer in all of Germany. Very high quality beer, my favorite it their dunkel but their Helles is also very good. This place gets very busy with tours. I’ve never seen this place not busy. They have lots of seating inside and outside. You can’t go wrong with any of their food. However their Sweinehaxen is so good. They also have daily food specials which are fantastic. The one night I was there I had the meatloaf with wild mushroom sauce. I ate here at least 6 times while I was here. I would highly recommend this place for an authentic German meal and great beer!

We spent a weekend at the Tegernsee in July. The Bräustüberl of the Tegernseer Brewery is my favorite place to eat and drink on the Tegernsee! The food and beer is great, the prices are more than affordable (especially for the area) and the atmosphere and the view are spectacular!. The next day we came back and I had a special unfiltered version of their classic "Helles"! I highly recommend coming here, when in the area!

The ambiance is great, they have both indoor and outdoor dining. The service was quick and the wait staff was polite and welcoming.

A Bavarian restaurant that you should visit during your trip in Tagernsee. Their local Tegernseer Hell beer tastes great along with the traditional Bavarian dishes. It can get really crowded during weekends and holidays but the service is very quick. Keep in mind that reservation is possible only for more than 4 people.

The Bräustüberl is an institution, wonderfully located directly on the Tegernsee. We have already ordered the entire menu once. :) Recommendation: the Schweinshaxe and the Dampfnudel. The service staff is always very friendly despite the large crowds.
The food and drinks are served quickly, the portions are large, and the prices are very moderate. The beer is from their own brewery. Cheap parking right next to the restaurant.

Amazing Biergarten located near the lake. The food is delicious and the portions are big enough.
I ordered the pork knuckle and it was tender and tasty. My friends were also very satisfied with what they ate.
The staff was really attentive and the prices were fair enough (cheaper than Biergärten in Munich).
I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

You can find high quality German cuisine with a low price there… the place is near to Tegernsee and the place is always crowded but there are lots of space indoor and outdoor so I don’t think u need to book a place before ahead … If u go there u would definitely be satisfied…🤩

Beautiful 300+ years old brewery building and much nicer, elevated experience than in any Bräuhaus in Munich. Great outdoor seating close to the lake shore.

It's one of the oldest restaurants I've ever been to.
It has a really rustic and old bavarian charme and that fits absolutely well.
Drinks and our food came really quickly. We almost didn't wait 5 minutes. I never had such a great service!

Being a regular guest there, I can say it's a must-visit spot! Awesome vibe, delicious food, local brews, and killer views of the lake. Perfect for chilling after a hike or hanging out with friends. Might be a little crowdy.
