We hiked with #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet from Tegernsee up to the Neureuther Alm.

Sure, it's a bit of a drag and there was even a bit of snow.

The mountain inn is great. We used the outdoor seating area, even though the weather wasn't quite so good.

We ate apple strudel and cheese strudel as well as pancake soup and drank lemonade

We can only recommend the inn! The toilets were clean and the parlour is wonderfully Bavarian.

By the way: the view is marvellous!

If you're visiting the area, this is *it*...the quintessential Bavarian mountain top restaurant with a view like something out of a movie. Just stunning. We came here at the end of a two hour hike up from the lake, and it was the ultimate reward. All the Bavarian classics are on the menu and served in a nice slightly elevated way on a deck overlooking the lake. Perfect. Just perfect.

Last month we visited this amazing place (my first time) and was so surprised, after hiking, to find such a great place at the summit! Roast beef, roast pork, followed by a cheesecake - very nice - and the atmosphere was almost as good as the view!

This restaurant can be reached within a 45min we walk. It offers an incredible view over the lakes into the mountains. Every time I come to Munich I come here to enjoy a completely different atmosphere. Best for sunsets over the Alps.

Very nice and cozy place with wonderfull view to the mountains. We were pretty lucky and the weather was just great for hiking, so this place was for us just a great refreshments station where to refuel our taste.
We didn't try anything for food but I think it will be a good option as well. Such as a different place around they are good quality for their cuisine 🚀🤩

So many people come here in a good weather! Low prices in comparison to other Hüttes. Breathtaking view point. Warm and sunny ☀ place. We used to visit it a few times a year.

I have been here many times, great destination for a shorter hike, stunning view on the lake and great choice of food and drinks, cash only and Monday closed

Great views of the lakes and the surrounding mountains. Perfect place to drink a beer peacefully or share a Kaiserschmarrn before heading back down to Tegernsee.

The food was delicious, the service was friendly and very efficient. It was a busy lunchtime and we had our food within 10 mins, amazing. The view from the terrace is beautifully stunning.

The Kaiserschmarrn is godly, the staff very polite and nice and the view is just stunning. I can also recommend the Weißwurst

Spinatknödel was delicious. The view is amazing on a clear day. The service was very fast. We were drinking our Radler and eating Spinatknödel 5 minutes after ordering. Of course, we were earlier than other people. 10 minutes later, the restaurant was full. Then, the service might not be that fast :)

Great place at the top to have lunch right in the middle of my hike! Friendly staff and amazing views!! I had the goulash wish was good and the neighbors meatloaf looked amazing as well.

Very delicious food, reasonable prices, and fantastic view.

We came here on a tour to the Baumgartenschneid from Tegernsee. After hiking up about 400 meters, this was just the perfect place to do an "Einkehr". With a lot of traffic on the weekends it was a bit difficult to find a good table but once we were seated, we were very positively surprised:

The servers were extremely friendly, fast, and the food arrived quickly (1 min wait time for Kaiserschmarrn!). Portion sizes were huge, the Kaiserschmarrn (with rum-raisins, a whole jar of apple jam, and caramel, yummy!), lentil soup, tortellini soup and potato salad were fantastic.

The view was breathtaking, one can see around the Tegernsee as well as a lot of Austrian alps (e.g., Großvenediger). We were above a low hanging cloud front and the ever-changing panaroma made our mouths gape open in awe.

Payment could be done very quickly (attentive servers). Strengthened by the food and positive experience, we moved onwards with our tour. ⚠ cash only ⚠, but it's Germany, so you should be prepared.

Nice tour. It took us around 2 hrs to come up from Tegernsee Bhf. The path is well marked and there's a few beautiful viewpoints.

Amazing place, great food including veggie and vegan dishes. Dogs are allowed inside which is great.

I had the best meal here after the hike....i would go back again to have the dish ( Tafelspitz in Meerrettischsuße)

The food was just delicious and the views were totally worth the hike. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The service was spot on and food came out promptly, even at rush time. Can easily spend hours sitting here in the Biergarten.

It is a great hike upwards. Bring proper shows if you are going up in the winter time. View, food and a beer are the perfect reward.
