Café Milchhäusl am See

This place is amazing! Lovely view of the lake while you can grab a tasty lunch. The Spinatspätzle with Gorgonzola cheese were super, they are served with a small salad. Don’t leave without trying the Linzer cake. Coming back for sure!

One of the most picturesque settings on the lake. Great homemade pastries and wonderful lunch options. My favorite is the potato pocket with salad! Get there early otherwise it’s hard to get a table as the restaurant is not very large. Not recommended for large groups or those with no patience. 😉

Every time I'm in Schliersee, I always make a point of coming to Café Milchhäusl, which is very popular. Its location is heavenly with an unbeatable view across the lake onto the mountains. The café is decorated with care - so pretty. The food is delicious, especially the "Knödel" with parmesan. Lovely cakes too, and prices decent. I have never experienced unfriendly staff there at all. I would say they have always been the very opposite. As one says in German: So wie man in den Wald ruft, so schallt es 'raus ;-) Could that be the solution to a bad evaluation, I wonder?

Have been coming here for years - nice staff, amazing cakes. At the pricier end of the scale but the view makes it worth it!

Beautiful and cozy. The food and service were delightful! Family friendly and our 5 year old son gave the food two thumbs 👍 up! Cake, coffee, eggs and bacon and the mixed breakfast were great to share with the family.
