Hofhaus am See

We arrived at the restaurant and we were warmly welcomed by the waiter. There is a kids friendly menu which is not in the official menu. Our son loved it! We took a fish and a meat dish, both equally delicious! The view is worth a visit!

Absolutely delicious food. The fish is cooked to perfection. Lovely view of the lake, and the beer is cold and fresh.

We arrived at Hofhaus am See at around 12pm on a snowy winter day. Parking was available for free outside the restaurant. Our experience at Hofhaus am See began with a warm welcome at the door. At first glance, the menu was diverse and affordable. The restaurant ambience was peaceful with music playing in the background. The service speed was efficient and we did not need to wait long until our next course arrived. The waiter came to check on us and cleared the tables promptly after we finished. The service was hospitable and the food was simply tasty. We will definitely come again when we have the opportunity to. Thank you for the excellent meal!

The food is outstanding and the restaurant itself in my kind is what a typical Bavarian Restaurant should look like... Charming...

Food here was fantastic. My boyfriend and I walked the entire lake then ended here for dinner - it was the perfect end.
Warning! If you go on a Friday evening make sure to book, luckily someone cancelled and we were able to get a table.
Also, I was a little worried about ordering steak because of another review, but the local steak was delicious and great quality.
Plus there were a few comments about the service, but the service was great - they were very warm and welcoming, even though you could see they were so busy.
Overall, a great holiday meal. Would recommend!

We went in winter, the place was absolutely lovely.
The service friendly, and the food delicious!
Just we wanted to pay with card, and it was not possible. I think they should let us know with anticipation.
Luckily we had enough cash to pay the bill.
Besides that everything was great.
I totally recommend this place!

Incredibly friendly and helpful waiter who gave loads of recommendations. Had a great time would definitely recommend! No English menu but the staff knew a little bit. Delicious!

Very good traditional food and friendly staff. You can only pay with cash or EC card (Germany only Visa competitor card issuer) and you probably need some German to understand the menu.

I was in the restaurant and their fish was incredible. The service was great and they have a nice outdoor terrace facing the lake.
