Nationalpark Berchtesgaden

This is probably the best park I have ever visited! The nature is incredible 😍 The lake is very clear, lots of people were swimming there. The water seemed too cold for me (late August), but the view is really amazing! There is private parking next to it, boat rentals (12€ per hour) and hotels with restaurants 👍🏻 My recommendation! ❤

I have been to many places in Germany but I can argue that Nationalpark Berchtesgaden is one of the most beautiful places, if not the most beautiful place, in Germany. Königssee is a banger with many hiking trails around. You can also climb the mountain Jenner which is also beautiful as well, which I did when it snowed! (Even better). Definitely a place that I would recommend to anyone to visit.

This national park is tied for my favorite I have ever been to. The one I'm struggling to compare it to is the Grand Tetons out in Idaho USA. they are both amazing, but this is much larger and just breathtaking in a different way

This hike is amazing. I didn’t go further into the different trails because of time constraints, but it’s definitely worth hiking that high up.

A very serene atmosphere and beautiful experience in between Alps. One can do treks, row a boat, or just be there and breathe :)

What a hidden gem. I would like to think that we plan our itinerary around beauty, not so touristy spots and great food. This place makes the list! What a gorgeous gorgeous spot for a short day trip to truly enjoy the culture. Really enjoyed our day trip and so glad we decided to see this :)

Beautiful national park. Nice ride on the lake - one of the cleanest lakes in Europe. Nice walk to a small lake and beautiful nature all around. Near the park is an eagle's nest which is also worth a visit.

Extremely beautiful and clean National Park. If you like boat trips and hiking, this is the place for you.

The view from the top was so amazing. It‘s like in heaven. So blue green and colorful. If you’re a tourist from another country. You should visit this place, it’s near from Austria and still part of Germany 🇩🇪

I have traveled around the world far and wide. I can state with complete confidence that this is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Sadly, many know this to be true. Like all the world's special places, it is now suffering from over-tourism and omnipresent crowds. Sigh.

I believe this is a must see place in Bavaria. The sceneries are spectacular. It's a complete package of beautiful natural park with lakes, woods, mountains, waterfalls, ... .

Beautiful lakes and very quite. Try going to the last stop (forgot the name) , the walk around it was very nice. Could be difficult for some. Wear sturdy shoes especially when it rains. Seen a lot of people kayaking but did not have time to explore. Will definitely try next time.

One of the most beautiful place on Earth.. pristine beauty.. konigsee lake is so beautiful with Crystal clear water and surrounding alps with snow covered peaks.. I visited in the month of October . Whole area was lined with autumn leaves and snow on top.. so beautiful .
Easily accessible from Salzburg by bus . German buses brings u here , u need to change bus at batchesgaden . But not difficult .
On the way u have options to visit salt mine caves and rope way to the top of alps .

Continuation of the alps. This in the Bavarian alps range.. Perfect for hiking and trekking.. Several sauna and resorts to spend quality time amidst the nature.. Easily accessible from Salzburg as well as Munich..

One of the most scenic and beautiful places in Germany. There are numerous trails of varying difficulty that connect to spurs that can take you into more remote villages of Bavaria while providing amazing views of Königsee and the surrounding mountains.

A wonderful place with a variety of beautiful hiking paths. I like the atmosphere of Berchtesgaden and Schönau which are surrounded by the mountains. Besides climbing the Watzmann or Jenner there are also tours on not so steep ways around the Königsee where you also have the opportunity to reach nice places by electric ferries. Although it is a very touristic region it felt very homely and the locals are very friendly.

Wonderful Shirt hike to eiskapelle with awesome waterfall and shades all over. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
