Great food and great views! Went early Saturday around 1000, definitely recommend a reservation on the weekends as it tends to get busy. Ordered the savory pancake tower and a side of potatoes. It took about 25-30 minutes for the food to come out, but everything was cooked well and tasted great. The atmosphere is really nice and the servers were friendly.

In the shadow of the Basilica, wonderful shopping and dining square. Ended up here for dinner - unplanned. The location is a beautiful outdoor dining space with a good menu with many options.
I had a wonderfully cooked bone in roast with a beer sauce and dumplings.
I’ll be back and will bring the wife!
They do have a menu in English for breakfast. I did not see one for dinner service.
They also have seasonal specials - the mushroom soup was excellent!!

Reasonable prices and nice food portion size. Picture is the gluten-free Nutella Sweet Pancakes. I couldn't tell the pancakes were gluten-free

Wonderful shop for breakfast. They have options not found in most cafe's. They have a pancake option and although I was unsure as they are gluten free I was surprised by them they were great. Definitely a cafe you will want to try. They are a bit higher in price but the quality makes up for it.

Great place to have a chill afternoon, we enjoyed live music. The service was on time and really nice. We had a kind of tradition plate which was great.

Great food, drink, and atmosphere

Just found out about this place and wish I had known about it sooner. We went here for breakfast and were seated right away and had to our hearts content. They have a variety of different styles of breakfast and the portions were more than admiral. Will be coming here every time we need our American breakfast lol.

Nice n friendly staff members. Food quality is also very good. Sitting outside in a sunny weather having tasty food and drinks is just awesome.

Best dinner restaurant in all of Amberg. Great atmosphere, service and most importantly best German food around.

It's always a pleasure to spend some time @Zentral when visiting Amberg. Very nice service. Tip: Try the limited Sudhang beer which is brewed up town, it's definitely a winner in my list.

Came for breakfast on a Saturday before the morning Rush. Everything was perfect from the coffee to food and service. Farmers breakfast and eggvocado were amazing! Awesome location, definitely worth a visit!

Cafe Zentral is one of our favorite places in Amberg. Their meat comes from the butcher right next door. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Normally they have a special menu with fantastic dishes. There is a larger seating are up stairs to accommodate larger groups. English and German are spoken here but German will get you farther.

A charming café with excellent food right in the Amberg town square. Food there at any time of the day is excellent.

Quick service with reasonably priced food. I'm a fan of their various breakfast items. Beware the wasps in the summer time. I think they are more of my food than I did.

Zentral is about to be my go-to brunch spot. I absolutely love the energy, the service, and the food.
