Amazing hotel, good location. The beach is only a minute away. The hotel staff are very helpful. The rooms are well equipped and even have welcome sweets.

The breakfast has a wide variety of items to choose from. If you like coffee, the breakfast also offers oat milk, soy milk, low fat milk, whole milk. Very upscale.

Don't miss out on the freshly baked Croissant, they are delicious.

I was there with my parents during our vacation times.

The hotel is very well maintained and very clean! The location in front of the beach is great! The food was okay. My father and I could use the spa and sauna every day. Also the small fitness studio is passable for a little workout.

But a big praise goes to the staff! Everyone (including the cleaning staff) is extremely friendly and accommodating. My mom was not doing so well during the stay. The staff did everything they could to get a doctor there right away. Rice was provided free of charge because of the Situation. They also asked about my mom's well being daily. You can see the love and passion each staff member has for their job. Really absolutely great! Clear recommendation!

What an absolutely amazing little find. It's a tiny slice of paradise on the Spanish coast. The rooms are fresh and clean, the staff are all lovely and are willing to go the extra mile for you. The food is so much better than we expected, so much choice everyday. I'm vegetarian and often struggle to find a variety in food abroad. This was absolutely not the case, would definitely recommend. Daily use of the spa and sunbeds on the beach was all included, so a nice little bonus. With just minutes until you're on the beach it's a relaxing place to stay. The receptionist even gave us directions to the station down the road to get the train to Barcelona. Plenty of shops and nightlife in the local area too. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing child free holiday.

Stayed here recently in room 501. Big room, great views & very comfortable. Staff at the hotel were great, simply couldn't do enough for you. Champagne on arrival was a great surprise after a long journey in. Food was great, pool area clean, tidy and comfortable. We'll certainly be returning. Thanks all Scott & Viki.

Best Hotel I have been in for a while. Rooms spacious, modern and clean. Staff really helpful and friendly. Food absolutely amazing. Location great. The beach is just 5 minutes away. I had to leave this review and trust me, it doesnt do them justice. Spa services available and was really nice. 👌🏽
Our holiday was very restful and enjoyable. We would go back in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is small enough to feel intimate and not overcrowded. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile and offered a glass of bubbly. Check in was quick and easy, all costs were explained and we were made to feel very welcome. It was a hot day but the hotel and our room were cool and airy. The room itself was clean and well equipped. It was cleaned and towels / linen replaced daily. Top tip - you don't get replacement tea/coffee after the first day but I'm sure you can ask for it at reception. We didn't as we brought our own. The shower was clean and powerful. The beds were comfortable (we had twin beds which worked out better than a double as we're both tall). The food was delicious and plentiful and we didn't once have a bad meal. All tastes are catered for. The pool area was clean and although the pool is small, we were the only 2 in it so it didn't matter. The spa was very nice. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our stay. Although we didn't get a chance to thank them all in person, we do so here. We'd particularly like to thank Andreas who was very funny and helpful. We'll definitely come back.

best hotel! visited in may 2023 and met with welcoming and friendly staff. rooms are beautiful with extra large balconies- upkeep was fantastic. the spa, communal areas and restaurant were 5*. drinks service unmatched and nothing is ever too much. easy access to a beautiful beach and the strip is full of lovely shops and places to eat! so excited to return this summer.

3rd time in the area now. Stayed 2 in Mar Mediterrania and we absolutely love it here. Extremely friendly and polite staff. Relaxed atmosphere, food just keeps getting better. Cater well to vegetarians and vegans also.

Perfect home away from home

Hotel staff was awesome. We were greeted by a gentleman from Uruguay (sorry didn't catch his name), we talked every time he was there. The hotel is clean, small gym, sauna, pools with a beautiful view of the ocean. We had drinks, breakfast and meals here at everything was excellent. Service in Barcelona everywhere was great during our stay. I wished that I had stayed in this area longer. Will recommend and will be back.

A lovely, small, modern, spotlessly clean hotel, right on the beach. Excellent service, nothing is too much trouble, especially the reception staff. Food was beautifully presented and of good quality. We had a suite which was spacious and very nice. Overall we felt this hotel to be of a consistently high standard - decor, furniture, plants etc all showed a thoughtful and imaginative approach. No corners were cut. We had the all Inclusive package - we prefer when paying for all
Inclusive that everything is included so a minor issue was for example an Aperol spritz being charged with a supplement, and the all inclusive hours are 11am - 11pm and the bar shut at midnight so we had to pay between 11pm and midnight. We brought our car - great that they had a secure carpark literally next door charged at €15 a day which was fab for us.

We stayed at the hotel for a week and I can recommend it. Good and fresh food, nice staff both at the reception and in the restaurant. Bright, modern and nicely decorated rooms. Beautiful view from the window to the sea and other hotels. Close to the beach bar where you can sit in the evening and have a drink or eat something.

Stayed here some years ago (when it's been a Fergus hotel). Small but clean room, nice drinks & food. Big spacious beach just in front of the hotel. Nice pool and just a perfect spot to relax. Barcelona is just a short trip by bus or train away.

Hotel was stunning! Beautiful location right on the beach front. Room was perfect, beds changed every day and were comfy, shower was brilliant, Service was good, we spent a day laying by the pool side and the staff were fantastic! Bringing drinks etc to you. Only a short walk to restaurant, bars etc. I never got trying the food as we were self catering. Would I return again? Yes!

Excellent! Beautiful modern property with a pool and club right on the beach front. The hotel is very conveniently located to explore Barcelona and the charming Costa Brava. The hospitality and ambience was superb, very attentive and efficient hotel personnel. Facilities like the spa and gym were on point.

Quiet, minimalistic designed hotel with cool personal. Spacious rooms with balcony, great kitchen with willing personal also. Excellent swimming pool with sunbeds near beach. Great experience.

We've just returned from a 3 night stay at the adults only Alegri Mar Mediterrania, and the hotel and staff were excellent. I had booked a transfer from the airport to the hotel, but as the hotel was on the beach, the coach had to drop us on the main road, which was about a 5 minute walk away. We took an early flight so got to the hotel before the official check in (2pm) but as our room was ready we were allowed to check in early and were given a complimentary glass of prosecco each upon arrival. We were then given wrist bands, which doubled up as our room key and also the key to the external gate to access the beach and the spa. The spa was complimentary but needed to be booked in advance. The electric card for the lights was separate. Our room was situated on the first floor, and this enabled us complimentary sun loungers and a parasol on the beach (otherwise €7 each, I think). We hired beach towels from reception for €10 each, and we exchanged them daily for fresh ones. To get your deposit back, you need to keep hold of the receipt. I booked a triple room and was initially told it would be a standard double room with a sofa bed, but we were pleasantly surprised to find three single beds instead. The room also had complimentary shower gel and shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste, hand and body lotion, shaving, and vanity kit. There was a mini fridge with a complimentary bottle of water, power points (no USB), air con, flatscreen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a reading lamp. We had a shared terrace with a couple of sun loungers and a small table. This was also the shortcut to the beach/pool and the lunch restaurant. Breakfast was served downstairs in the main restaurant from 8am - 1030am and served a wide range of delights from fresh fruit to cold meats and cheese, patisserie items and cooked food, there was an egg chef too. They also had two coffee machines with a range of milk, including soya and oat. The restaurant staff were extremely attentive as the food was replenished frequently, and they were always quick to clean away the used breakfast plates. The WiFi was excellent throughout the hotel and even stretched all the way down to the beach! One night, we opted to have dinner at the hotel, so we made a reservation at reception and were charged €15 each for a buffet style dinner. The drinks were separate, and a bottle of beer was around €3. The hotel was on the beach, so we had easy access, and we soon found ourselves in a routine of popping to the nearby supermarket for cold drinks and snacks whilst on the beach. This tied us over until dinner. There were also plenty of beach bars which belonged to the hotels and a 1 litre jug of sangria cost us around €15. Check out was at 11 am and was straightforward, and again, the staff were helpful and polite. The hotel has some amazing decor and was clean throughout. I'd recommend staying here if you want a quiet and relaxing beach holiday. Because its adults only, there's no loud entertainment on site, and they also serve bubbles at breakfast! Top hotel with top staff, we loved it.

We are currently on our last day here and the week has been amazing. The hotel and room are really clean and lovely. All the staff are lovely and very helpful.
We stayed for my birthday, either the cleaners saw my birthday cards or somebody over heard and I had an unexpected bottle of cava and a card delivered in the evening to the room in the evening. It was such a lovely touch I will never forget.
We will definitely be staying again.

Really surprised (in a good way) that this hotel is only 120 euros a night including breakfast. I should have included dinner as well!

Both breakfast and danner are really high value for money.

My room is extremely clean. You could eat off the bathroom floor.

The staff all over the hotel is kind and effective. I especially like the middle aged blond woman in the reception who imidiately noticed the tired look on my face when checking in and made my check inn extremely smooth.

I have visited many hotels around the world. This is my top 3 of the 4 star hotels I have visited.

I will most definitely come back. (And to the people who complain about the Camp ground next to the hotel: Go to an old peoples home in stead. You should try living on Copacabana if you think this is noisy. I slept like a baby from 23 avery night.)

PS My balcony could fit a pool table.

A great hotel which we've been to twice now. Everything is spotless, the staff are excellent and so friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Food is plentiful and there's a good choice. We've opted for the all inclusive deal which is really worth it we think!

The location is right on the beach with lovely views. Shops and bars are only a short walk away. We've only been in April and so it's low season; not sure what it's like in high season but I'm sure it's still great.

Would really recommend the hotel.
