Hotel Mercury

We stayed 10 days as a family of 4 in this hotel. After reading the bad reviews , I had low expectations. However, when we arrived, we were given 3rd floor, corner big room with amazing view on the sea and mountains.
The room was cleaned everyday even sometimes i had to refuse cleaning because it was all fine from the day before. Food was good, with different options everyday, variety of fruits, and deserts. My kids are fussy eaters and they always had different options to eat. I liked that it was a big variety of international food with seafood and meat options. Beach is just 3 minutes walk away.
Very helpful and friendly staff. We were not in to entertainment, but there was always something going on at 9pm.
For some people commenting here, they should stay in the PUB in their country and have their egg, baked beans, fish and chips served in English. They are coming to Spain and complain that the buffet serves Spanish food and staff speak Spanish. Some people need to be more positive and not to pay attention on minor things. If I wanted to have a towel changed, i was okay to ask and if the cupboard had no cups, I was okay to point out on it. But it is not the reason to put 1 star to the hotel.
This is not my first ever holiday. I have been in many countries and couple of them were all inclusive packages. Honestly, it is one good normal hotel. Don’t be scared of the bad reviews if you are a positive, easy going person who’s mood will not decline if the kitchen is a bit late with fried eggs 😂

My partner and I had a week stay here with breakfast included and it really is not all bad compared to some of the reviews on here.
The breakfast food was average but had a variety for everyone. The pool was big, clean and there are plenty of sunbeds around. The bar staff are so friendly and prices are reasonable if you're not all inclusive.
The hotel is a little dated but for what you pay, I think it was worth it! The cleaners were around every day during our stay also so we couldn't complain about cleanliness.
There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel within walking distance all reasonably priced too so we loved our stay!

We had the best time here! The staff, (cooks, waiters, bartenders, cleaners...) were amazing and worked so hard to make everyone happy. Location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, the train station is right in front of the hotel. I highly recommend it, we didn't miss anything and our vacation was great!

After reading the reviews i was absolutely dreading my holiday BUT i worried for nothing, the hotel was lovely the room basic but what more do you need we was sleeping in it, food was ok im a fussy eater found something to eat everytime, were as the hubby enjoyed everything, the staff were lovely the other tourists were rude as! But we didnt let it ruin or hol, the area around the pool was lovely and we met some lovely people. Only thing i can say is dont let the reviews spoil your holiday go and see it for yourself

We have just returned from our holiday, we spent 5 days here. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews. Hotel was clean, cleaners came every day to clean our room.
The food was great, lots of choices. Fish, mussels, Steak, chicken, etc. variety of starters, lots of desserts. Food was labelled, had something for everyone, including vegetarians.
Staff were all very friendly, happy and willing to help.
Bar staff were great, it does cater to more to the Spanish but that didn’t bother us, we enjoyed our experience here and would come back here.
Can get a train to Barcelona, for €5! Good location.

Well ive never done a review before and i read the reviews for this after i booked and was a little worried buttttt i have arrived today and yes it's the first day but everyone have been helpfull there is entertainment and they do speak and do english music so honestly some of the reviews i read was honestly wrong maybe that was their experience but i will say my experience so far is amazing and i will do another one at the end of the week as like i said first day here but im Happy and would definitely come back suitable for all ages

Don't listen to the bad reviews it a cracking hotel staff are brilliant took a while book in but was sorted in end so no complaints at all

Me and my boyfriend went to this hotel this summer and it was amazing. The room had a sea view since the hotel is super close to the beach. All the staff was super friendly and English speaking. The food at the buffet was varied every day.

The entertainment at weekend nights during this fall was beyond good, we had an amazing time enjoying their performers. Rooms always cleaned and tidy, surroundings and garden in great condition. Very recommended for a family getaway.

I spent a wonderful time with my husband at this lovely hotel in Santa Susanna. The pool is amazing and the staff were all super nice. The room was spacious and clean and the food buffet excellent. Truly recommend.

Although over 90% of people staying there were over 60 and Spanish. The staff were very good with us. A little slow at service from the bar as we were fully inclusive. The paying people had higher priority service as they were paying for drinks which is understandable but kind of wrong as we had already paid in our price.
But overall staff and people were very friendly to us maybe because we had young children. I would recomend the hotel to other people.

Nice hotel for a family holiday in a small town but with easy access to the train (Barcelona about 1.5 hours by train) good food, everyone will find something to eat, very good burgers as a snack in the bar, very friendly bar service;), great animators (greetings to the Carmmen team 😉👍).

I don't get what all of you are complaining about.. We were here for a week and if I didn't have the stay ruined by a severe sunburnt on my leg, I'd be 100% satisified with this hotel.. The staff is friendly, they even brought food into my room when they knew I can't get out because of my disability. The only thing that might be annoying is a lack of elevators, but I'd say that normal people wait and don't fuss about it. Overall, I give this hotel 5 stars, because it deserves it.

Just been for a weekend here with a few mates and seen mixed reviews about this place, just want to say it was in a perfect location, practically on the beach and the train station is literally across the road which is great as went to Barcelona! Hotel itself was great, food was good and the poolside games with the entertainment team were a great laugh. Would definitely stay again!

Really relaxing week. Had a great time with the family. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Especially Saida in the bar, who went out of her way to ensure we had a good time. Plenty of choice with the food.

Reception staff are lovely and very helpful. The house keeping is good too! Food is ok... not really to our taste. Mostly fish served eveyday... not very nice for kids.
