Antonio Pérez Foundation Museum

22 rooms of challenging creative modern art and installations in an impressive historic building in the old town creating an interesting contrast. The museum is free and well worth a visit. On the weekday morning we went, we had it to ourselves although on a weekend it's probably a very different story.

An absolute must see in Cuenca. A unique and incredible collection, vision and space. This museum alone would be reason enough for me to come here.

Thoroughly enjoyed the collection, the space and the setting. Spent a couple of hours exploring. A highlight of my time in Cuenca and I will be recommending it to others. Thank you!

I think this is the best museum of the city, much better and bigger than the museum of abstract art in the hanging houses. I also loved the building. You need at least an hour to see everything.

Amazing museum. You can enjoy the pictures, the light (Cuenca "City of Light") and the views.

Amazing ! If you enjoy contemporary art, this will blow your mind. If you are allergic to contemporary art, it will make you feel uncomfortable....but never indifferent. The creative contrast between the freedom and wackiness of the artwork, and the tidy orderliness of the building, is simply amazing.

The exhibited works are unique and the gallery is a hidden gem! A must-see venue in the city.

Still one of my favorites collections of modern and contemporary art, always worth a visit to admire the collection and the views.

I don't usually even like art museums much, but this one was great!

The architecture is particularly interesting as several parts of it completely change.

Era una de mis asignaturas pendientes en mi visita a Cuenca. Creo que sus (23?) salas me imponían un poco, pensando en el tiempo que tendría que dedicar.
Ahora, una vez efectuada la visita, sólo me arrepiento de una cosa: no haberla realizado antes. Tanto el espacio como la colección, lo justifican con creces.

Recomendable, y como podréis comprobar lo justifico con múltiples imágenes.

Una colección absolutamente increíble. Una extensa y sorprendente variedad de obra contemporánea. Sorprende tanto por la extensión como por la calidad. El espacio arquitectónico es alucinante. No deja indiferente. Además no me costó dinero acceder. Completamente recomendable.

Visita guiada y taller en familia.
Fuimos a ver el museo con las niñas y contratamos la visita guiada y el taller (2h) y fue todo un acierto. Eva, la guía fue un encanto tanto con las niñas como con los adultos. Nos explicó muchísimas cosas y curiosidades tanto de las obras como de los artistas. Luego en el taller pudimos crear nuestras propias obras de arte. TOTALMENTE RECOMENDABLE!!!!!

Exposición amplísima e interesante; sin duda, una visita ineludible para los amantes del arte y la cultura.

Uno de los imprescindibles de Cuenca. Un interior que siempre merece la pena. Ubicado en un antiguo convento de las Carmelitas, la Fundación es un lugar que deja huella. Tiene colección permanente y temporal, arte contemporáneo y abstracto y cómo no, sus objetos encontrados. Muy recomendable!

Un lugar para visitar si vas a Cuenca, arte por todos lados y un edificio emblemático, mínimo una hora sin pararse mucho, tendré que repetir visita. Muy recomendable.

Es el mejor espacio expositivo para una colección única de Arte Contemporáneo como es ésta. Las obras no dejan indiferentes ni a los que crean que " son estupideces", seguro que las piensan y las comentan... Creo que toda la fama en Cuenca está puesta en el Museo de Arte Abstracto por ser el primero en España, y estar dentro de las CASAS COLGADAS, pero recomiendo visitar la Fundación de Antonio Pérez por la cantidad y calidad de sus obras, es parar pasar días enteros allí. Me ha encantado!!

Visita imprescindible si estás de visita en Cuenca y mucho mejor si te la explican en una visita comentada. Increíble la visita y el taller que hicimos con Eva. Nos descubrió grandes obras y disfrutamos muchísimo la experiencia. Muchas gracias, Eva! Salimos encantadas
