Octopus was amazing, you have to try it!
Bravas unfortunately not so, for sure would skip them next time.
Calamares were really OK.
And for sure you have to try vermut.
The stuff was very friendly and thoughtful. We got delicious chupito for a goodbye. I'd definitely come back and recommend to others.

Great food, most of the menu is gluten free (including many battered items like Calamari), incredible seafood and the Octopus is particularly fantastic. It’s not easy eating out overseas as a coeliac - the staff here genuinely seemed to care and knew what they were doing. Awesome service and priced about average for the area.

This place is amazing!
Nothing fancy but a genuine, wholesome pulperia.
We ate calamares, pulpo galetta and lightly fried boquerones. It was the best food we’ve had at our trip. 10/10!
It’s clear that the restaurant is family run and that only adds to the genuine feel.
You can really taste that the seafood is fresh and it looks like the family fishes the produce themselves.

Not only the food was outstanding but also the family who owns this restaurant and the guy how goes fishing in the morning and runs from table to table in the evening. We had Pulpo gallega, jamón y queso, pan con tomate y mejillones y Aqua de Peñíscola. It was delicious! The place in a little and very vivid street was the point in top! Thanks for this special evening. We'll come back.

Wow definitely worth finding this restaurant. We loved it. It’s a bit of a confusing road to find but then you turn a corner and a wonderful alley full of restaurants greets you. Family run and owned. They go out every day from March to November all seafood on the menu caught and cooked fresh daily. It was so wonderful how fresh it was. Highly recommend

Food and the atmosphere were perfect. However, the highlight of the evening was Eloy, with whom we had some deep and enjoyable discussions about football and life!

Great food, plenty of it and very friendly and cheerful staff. They were very helpful especially with our 2 under 3 year olds. Lovely ambience within the city wall.

Fantastic food! Great service. You could taste that products were fresh and we are very picky. And it is not overpriced like most. We can highly recommend.

The Best Pulpooo!!!

Ci siamo tornate per ben due sere di seguito perché la qualità del pesce è ottima (pescano e cucinano loro), ci hanno permesso di mangiare con il nostro cagnolone dandoci un tavolo un po’ più appartato quindi siamo state comodissime e soprattutto perché FINALMENTE ABBIAMO MANGIATO DEL FRITTO DI PESCE SENZA GLUTINE!
Los chipirones, boquerones e le crocchette ci hanno fatto impazzire!
Il fritto non unto, croccante e la materia prima davvero di qualità!
Peccato non vivere vicino a Peñíscola per andarci almeno una volta a settimana 🤪

Restaurante familiar en el casco histórico de de Peñíscola.
A pesar de que las calles son empedradas y y qué es en una cuesta tiene muy bien colocadas las mesas.
Tiene una carta con raciones bastante amplia donde poder escoger todo tipo de mariscos y de y de pescados.
Fuimos recomendados por Rosa Ana, la anfitriona de nuestro hotel.
A pesar de ser sábado de noche y estar a tope, nos sirvió muy rápido.
Como yo soy mucho de pescado pedí la fritura de pescado, que como no podía ser de otra manera estaba riquísima (son pescadores).

Tan bien que hemos repetido.

Estuvimos cenando el domingo y nos gustó tanto que hemos repetido hoy lunes.

Súper atentos y cercanos todas las personas que allí trabajaban (que la mesa esté bien calzada, que no te falte la bebida, que te ordenamos los platos para que salgan los calientes en último lugar y así no se enfríen, que te invitamos a unos chupitos, etc…)

Relación calidad precio, súper bien (y eso que hemos cenado ambos días a base de mariscos, cefalópodos y pescados) A nuestro lado se han sentado unos chicos alemanes que han pedido unas papa bravas que tenían una pintaza impresionante (estábamos a reventar y no las hemos pedido por vergüenza, pero no por ganas)

Ya les hemos hablado a nuestros amigos y familiares sobre este descubrimiento y esperamos volver pronto.

Excelente lugar para comer marisco y pescado de la zona. Raciones bien de tamaño y calidad de la comida muy buena. El servicio rápido y amable. La tarta de queso increíble!

Pedimos tellinas, boquerones fritos, pulpo a la gallega, y croquetas de rape con gamba, y de vieira con gamba ( puedes pedir por ud) todo estaba riquísimo! El servicio brutal, pendientes de todo, en todo momento. Que no falte de nada! Sin duda, para repetir!🔝

Genial, super bo i super amables. Ja veniem per recomanació d’un company de feina però dues persones del poble ens el van tornar a recomanar, de manera que no podiem deixar de provar el seu menjar. Peix i pop fresc, preus assequibles i tracte molt amable i acollidor. Tot un encert venir. El recomanem 100%!💖

Todo fantástico, la atención, la comida y el ambiente. Llegamos por casualidad y nos fuimos encantados, estaba todo muy bueno y nos atendieron muy rápido y súper bien.

Wir waren 2x sehr gut in El Rebost essen - hier wird selbst gefangener Fisch und Tintenfisch serviert. Sehr leckeres Essen, top Service. Es gibt ein Menü für 2 Personen für 32€. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen ☺

Como el resto de comentarios, fuimos allí tras leer las reseñas y coincido plenamente con el resto. El servicio es de 10 y eso que hay dos personas atendiendo para todas las mesas, atentos, amables y rápidos.
Si bien el pulpo nos pareció que tenía poca cantidad y esperábamos que llevara una cama de patatas al ser a la gallega, estaba buenísimo al igual que los diferentes platos que comimos.
Mención especial al alioli casero.
El precio muy razonable para 4 personas.

Volveremos sin duda!

Negocio familiar que cuida al máximo a la clientela y el producto (capturado por ellos). Visita obligada siempre que visitamos Peñiscola. No os perdáis el pulpo y la gamba roja.
