Mesón Albergue El Puntido

We stayed here as a stop on the Camino, took a triple room as that all was available and it cost 45euro. Rooms where clean and towels, soap and shampoo provided.

The place was very busy and the staff were friendly enough.

Had a cheese salad sandwich which cost 4.50euro but it was fine.

Food is very good. Loved the paella. Lunch is available at 1pm... Just be aware of that.

Lovely friendly staff, decent pilgrim menu (though do check out the menu del dia at Hostel Fuentestrella across the street before you decide!) good clean spacious rooms with big cupboards. Great showers. Very glad I stayed here!

Excellent albergue on the Camino de Santiago route through the really pleasant village of Hontanos with a terrace hugging both sides of the road. Rooms are lovely as is albergue. There's a kitchen upstairs and they also offer a tasty and substantial menu.

I loved my stay here. staffs are so accomodating. This village was small, and the albergue is closed to the church. They do give out free blankets! And great shower system. And AWESOME TOTILLA DE PATATA- so big and SO GOOD I LOVED IT! Had to buy 3 to keep me going for a day- and I walked 45km that day thanks to their amazing food haha. Friendly staff, good vibes, definitely a good albergue to rest ! :)

memorable stay here, very clean and tidy albergue, superb friendly staff with a bar out front where you can sit for hours chatting to your fellow pilgrims. You won't see this place until the last minute as the whole town appears to be in a hollow crater, rest assured it is there and the town is a welcome stopping point. Stayed here during my Camino in Sep 18 and would use again

This is one of the best places I’ve been to on the Camino everyone is so nice and accommodating and the pilgrims dinner was delicious!

Arrived there after a wet day, tyres stuck with mud and I've found this heaven. Hose to clean the bike, washing machine for the clothes (even a dryer ). And a nice menu del peregrino. Very good matress too for a great night.
