Felt really welcome and I did have a lot off fun. It was a vine taste evening and really good tapa .

Quite simply put, "La Bodega" is one of the the best, if not the best, restaurant in Salobreña. The food is typical Andalucian cuisine, skilfully prepared and presented by attentive and hard-working staff. The Chateaubriand is exquisite here and served to your liking; as is the Monkfish - skewered on a mini-sword with prawns - just to rave about two of the excellent dishes on offer. In Andalucian style your drinks are served with a tapa, and here you can guarantee they will whet your appetite splendidly.

This is a family run restaurant founded 30 years ago by Francisco Martin and his wife. They really have maintained the authenticity of the place as it is the original "Bodega" (Wine Cellar) of the town. Don't forget to check out the pottery and other artefacts on the walls either, some of which date from the time of the Phoenicians! The restaurant boasts three spaces too: the main restaurant, the bar area and the terrace.

If you really are looking for the most authentic and excellent dinning experience, then look no further than La Bodega. First class in all respects...
