A well stocked, clean and easy place to shop. Outside a big car park with views to the mountains on one side and the Moorish Castle on the other.

The staff in Mercadona are always helpful. Seldom are items out of stock. I guess they could be a little more adventurous with their wines...but the gluten free beer is a bonus at the price. All in all they are pretty reasonable in stock selection and prices.

Wonderful selection of all goods, fish counter is extraordinarily well stocked with fish from Motril aswell as further a field. Staff very friendly, and if the queues are too long at the checkout they open another one.

One of the highlights of travelling to Spain is to visit a Mercadona and browse through all the different wares. Really exotic and different compared to the grocery stores in used to in northern Europe.
I especially love that there's always a selection of fresh fish, including squid.

The US version of Kroger. We just don't get GMO fruits and veggies here. Yeah!! Much healthier choices than the US.
