XUQ hotels

My partner and I absolutely LOVED our cave villa experience! We stayed in the Grotta, which is a 2-story villa with two outdoor patios, an outdoor plunge pool (so refreshing!), an indoor tub, cozy upstairs bedroom, wonderful lounge area, and dining room. The landscaping is all very lovely, the lighting is moody and thoughtful, and we loved that it was very private.

We visited in Spring (April), so it was a little chilly, but we knew to bring layers for spending time outside. At this time, the trees were in bloom and it smelled HEAVENLY everywhere! The styling of the villa was gorgeous -- a mixture of old, new, and whimsy. They didn't leave any details out! Very beautiful.

The Landscape Club is pretty -- nice, private areas for couples or friends to hang out. We spent time by the lily pond and enjoyed the stars. The club would be a great spot to spend time in the summer as none of the water is heated.

The hotel is VERY remote, so bring food to cook and eat for all meals (they do provide some pastries in the morning), water to drink, and wine to enjoy. It's in a beautiful wine country, so many great wines to choose from! Be sure to explore nearby areas too -- Jorquera is a cute town (maybe 25 minutes away) and Alcala del Jucar has the castle, river, and a few restaurants to enjoy.

When staying there, you need to remember -- you're in a cave home in a very remote area. Nothing is **perfect**, but it is quite an incredible place to experience! And, as someone else shared, follow the driving directions given by XUQ! The way we drove to arrive there went on a road with very tight switchback curves right on the edge of a cliff.

If we're ever in España again, we will definitely make a point to come back to XUQ for a few days!

I had read about Xuq in an article about the area and it exceeded expectations. The cave experience and location in the Jucar gorge were the attractions but we also found that the facilities are very good too, with the choice of using your own private area or the landscape club, which was very peaceful and well maintained. A beautiful place where you can come to relax in a tranquil location. Would definitely recommend bringing your own food and coal for the barbecue, so you don’t have to leave once you’re here.

A really unique experience in such a beautiful location. Pilar was great to deal with and answered any questions and doubts I had with great speed and efficiency. The setting is stunning and it’s a wonderful place to disconnect and relax.
The suite was really well set up and had all we needed to have a great weekend. I look forward to going back in the future and trying another suite.

It's Amazing Place to enjoy with your couple, they change the room, because the weather the day before our arrival was very bad. The new room was very awesome, and the landscape is a perfect place to rest, read a book, and enjoy the trees and birds!!

Xuq is the perfect stay,beautiful rooms every single one is unique and special .This time we stayed in Tha,before we been in Ogof,Hohle,Grotta and Tha .

The resort is quirky and well maintained - we loved our stay there - the staff were helpful and very friendly and all requests ie booking a restaurant was done for us - we are looking forward to the food truck and a restaurant that is due this summer - then we can enjoy it even more

What an amazing place to disconnect! The suite was great, the view incredible, and relaxing in the hot tub with the fireplace was exactly what I needed.

Impresionante lugar donde desconectarás y te relajarás.
Está ubicado en un sitio increíble. Silencioso, limpio, con todos los detalles.
No hay nada cerca donde ir a comprar, por lo que tendrás que ir preparado con cositas para cocinar, ya que tienen cocinas equipadas. Tienen distintas villas y unos jardines espectaculares. Sin duda, repetiré. Es muy de parejas, pero yo fui con una amiga a relajarnos. El personal muy amable.

Dos días perfectos. La intención era desconectar y lo hemos hecho! La zona estupenda, las habitaciones idílicas y el servicio maravilloso.
Nada malo que decir. El desayuno muy bueno y variado, para todos los gustos. Un silencio impecable, sólo se oye el ruido del agua.
Apartado totalmente del mundo. Únicamente le pongo una pega, le falta un barecito para poder salir a tomar o comprar algo. Volveremos seguro!!!

Hemos pasado un fin de semana increíble. La habitación Magara, donde hemos estado alojados, inmejorable. Tenía todos los detalles, desde un kit de limpieza a estrenar para la cocina...hasta zapatillitas para la entrada y salida al jacuzzi. Cuenta con aire acondicionado para calor y frío más una chimenea, a parte de que la temperatura de la cueva es agradable. La limpieza excepcional... Te reciben con una botella de vino, agua, café e infusiones...
El jacuzzi es genial...y la mentalidad sostenible del hotel, donde reutilizan su agua para regar las fincas de la zona, y por ello no se permite la utilización de jabones que no sean los que en el alojamiento tienen.
Pilar, la chica de recepción encantadora y siempre dispuesta para ayudar y hacer que tu estancia sea estupenda. Sofás, cama, sillas...todo nuevo y muy cómodo.
Los alrededores cuentan con una zona privada para huéspedes donde relajarse en un entorno maravilloso y con innumerables recovecos donde desconectar y disfrutar de la naturaleza.
Lo recomendamos 100%. Merece la pena y estamos deseando volver para conocer todas las habitaciones.

Elegimos este lugar para celebrar nuestro 12° aniversario y, sin dudarlo lo volveré a elegir. El sitio más romántico y tranquilo en el que hemos estado. La atención por parte de todo el equipo, de diez . Y los detalles más cuidados imposibles, hicieron de la estancia un recuerdo inolvidable, gracias . Espectacular.

Hemos celebrado un momento especial en un sitio único. La ubicación es sorprendente, una decoración y ambientes que te hacen sentir distinto, un lujo de pequeños detalles, acogedor y sofisticado al mismo tiempo. Una maravillosa roco que te acompaña, observa y te trasmite la fuerza de la pura naturaleza y el paso del tiempo. Tiempo limitado que en sitios así aprendes a valorar mejor. Maravillosa ubicación, las habitaciones son perfectas para desconectar. El trato de los trabajadores es genial. La limpieza impoluta. Recomendable si quieres volver a conectarte con la naturaleza. Sin duda repetiremos.

El lugar es espectacular, muy diferente de cualquier hotel.
La limpieza excelente, de 10 el esfuerzo por tenerlo todo tan cuidado.
El trato en recepción también genial, para cualquier duda o necesidad están al momento prácticamente.

Estamos realmente encantados. Quedarnos aquí fue toda una experiencia inolvidable! No sabíamos hasta que punto nos íbamos a encontrar entre montañas, y la llegada de noche fue todo un espectáculo. Cuando llegamos al puente no sabíamos si el coche iba a caber, pero ya al rato vimos que si pasaba sin problemas. Nuestro suite, el Ogof es precioso, limpio, peculiar e único. Lo recomendaríamos a todos los que necesiten desconexión de todo y conexión con su pareja. 100% romántico! Fuimos de luna de miel 🥰💍❤
