El Mirador

Absolutely amazing and breathtaking view over the ravine where Alcala del Jucar nested. Seeing it in daylight, sunset and night made it even more impressive spot.
Restaurant is very good, food tasty but the service could be more attentive.
A must visit place when in La Mancha area.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Mirador, a delightful restaurant located in Albacete, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and, of course, the spectacular views that truly set El Mirador apart.

Situated at an elevated location, the restaurant offers unparalleled vistas of the surrounding landscape, which added an extra touch of magic to the dining experience. As the sun set and the sky turned into a canvas of vivid colors, I found myself completely immersed in the beauty of the moment, making it an ideal setting for a romantic dinner or a memorable gathering with friends and family.

The culinary highlight of the evening was undoubtedly their exquisite vegetable ragout, known as pisto. This traditional Spanish dish was expertly prepared, bursting with vibrant flavors and a perfect balance of textures. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and the presentation was equally impressive, showcasing the chef's attention to detail and passion for the craft.

In addition to the pisto, the menu offered a diverse selection of dishes, each skillfully crafted and beautifully presented. Good price/quality ratio. Stellar views, 18 Euros for the lunch special (see image for what you can order), and good choice of beef cuts on the menu. The cazón de adobo is stellar and brought back memories of living in Sevilla. Would recommend you reserve and indicate a table with a good view since it does get crowded (Thursday lunch it was packed), and as many tables aren't next to the panoramic windows.

I just had coffe here, so don't know about foods here. But the view is absolutely amazing. That's why the name of the restaurant is "El Mirador". I think, it's the perfect name for this restaurant.

Although we were eating here on a budget as we were on a coach tour combined with the village of Alcala Del Jucar the food was plentiful,the service was very efficient, and the views down the valley were amazing.

Went on an organised tour. Didn't know what to expect. Was not disappointed.

I have given 5 stars in its category. Superb view, very hard working fast friendly staff, food good and lots of it. Tricky road for large vehicles but fun. The empty bottles were very willingly replaced.

Nine of us came for lunch as part of a trip with David's Coachtrips and the food and service was fantastic, highly recommended.

A M A Z I N G. the food was delicious, the wine is good (local) and cheap and the views are breathtaking. We deviated 60km from our original journey to have lunch there and it was the best decision. You might want to get the menu del dia, cheaper and covers starters, mains and dessert. Must try the fried goat's cheese with tomato marmalade.
