Torre del Marqués Hotel, Winery & Spa - Small Luxury Hotels

I just left after five days at this hotel, and it was amazing. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, the beds and amenities are nice, and everyone was so welcoming and helpful.
I had dinner at the hotel almost every night and the food was incredible. I’m vegan, and the chef created a special menu for me each night. The food was delicious, flavorful, inventive, beautiful, and different every evening. I am so grateful. I got to meet the chef before leaving and he told me he loves creating with vegetables, and it shows in the food. I highly recommend the hotel and well as even just the restaurant for a meal if you are local!

Beautiful hotel with good spa facilities and a stunning location. Lovely, helpful staff and excellent food with wine from the bodega on site. Service would get 6 stars if that was an option on Google.

Torre Del Marqués is a fantastic ‘destination Hotel’, a little off the beaten track but absolutely worth a day or two of your time. The hotel itself is a eco-gem: low carbon footprint (no A/C here, only beautifully cool circulated air), built from local and sustainable materials….they even produce their own wine (which is decent). Accommodation is classy and understated, the staff are exceptionally helpful and the food hits the spot too. All this and at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

This is THE one truly 5 star hotel in Spain - the best that we have ever visited and comparable to and 5 star hotel around th world, in terms of service, acommodation and food.
They went over the top to make our stay a truly memorable one and even found us somewhere to park our caravan (we were returning from a tour)

This hotel is located in the middle of the mountains overlooking the area. The rooms are nice and clean. The swimming pool is heated and is quite big. It’s a serenity place to have a restful time. The breakfast is small and quite basic but all from local products.

Update! This is our second stay here, in retrospect should mention that I feel this is probably a better hotel for couples only rather than families, although there is the swimming pool, other than this there is not much more for children. We had took dinner on the terrace with fantastic views across the valley, and as we ate dinner we could watch the slow creep of sundown across the valley. The food in the restaurant is just excellent, wines fantastic also with a generous selection. We went too the pool in the afternoon and also in the morning when it opened at 10:00am, at this hour we were the only ones there. A 5 star luxury hotel, fantastic service, the rooms perfect, the restaurant very good also, I did enjoy the breakfast more than the dinner to be honest!

Bottom line, just go! Torre Del Marques is simply enchanting. Located off the beaten path, quite literally, but you will find yourself in the lap of luxury. The team attended to our every need. I can't speak highly enough of each staff member we encountered! Our stay was phenomenal and we will return. One of our favorite places to stay of all time.

A magical property. "Gem" understates how perfectly the staff executes their tasks and makes one feel especially welcome. Incredible food - and a magnificent secluded location with fantastic views in all directions.

The service and ambiance make you feel privileged, fortunate to be their , and the rates aren't even obnoxious- absolutely reasonable to be one of 36 lucky occupants at any moment .

We have the 2 bedroom private villa owned by the hotel and its just SICK.

AND also not silly expensive by any means !

An Excellent Hotel - It's not usually the price bracket of Hotel that we stay in when travelling in Spain but Mrs W has had a stressful year so I wanted somewhere special for a few days. This Hotel delivered in every respect.

We stayed for three nights and the whole experience was delightful. Location, pool, room, restaurant and grounds are all superb.

What made the stay especially memorable was the service we received from all the staff, especially Jorge. Money can buy facilities but it can't produce friendly efficient knowledgeable staff. Everything as you would want it without being overbearing.

Mrs W enjoyed the spa and had a very good massage, I enjoyed the local walking and wild swimming too.

The restaurant is committed to using local produce wherever possible and the locally led wine list is very good. The grenache Rosado from Tel-Lurig being especially good.

This was an unforgettable stay and I have no doubt we will be return in the future.

We stayed here after our wedding as our Mini-moon for 5 nights.

From personal experience we often take 5* ratings with a pinch of salt, but I can honestly say Torre del Marqués is a true 5* retreat.

It is a small 18 bed hotel, so you very much get the personal experience. The decor is so relaxing and the building has clearly been restored with love and attention to detail.

The rooms are perfect, very quiet, amazing beds, and the views are wonderful.

The spa was incredible, their wine and food was perfect. The lamb was a particular favourite.

The staff are amazing. You can tell a good hotel by the staff - there was no fake smiles, everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy their job.

All the front desk were happy to help with anything, and always with a smile. They even sorted out horse riding for us at short notice.

All the back of house staff were always polite and friendly.

The restaurant / servers were always attentive and very polite. All the staff were amazing but inparticular Jorge, he always took time to make sure we were ok, he kept a note of what we liked and didnt (without us even knowing) and gave some great suggestions on wine based on what we had been trying. He even kept the last of a particular bottle aside for us to have on our last night. It is hard to describe but that type of service is not taught and the management have done an amazing job in having such an incredible group of people working there.

We will definitely be back - the perfect R&R location.

A flawless experience with: an idyllic location, fantastic spa facilities with pool, sauna and steam room, professional and kind staff, fantastic food and wine. We left completely refreshed. We will surely come back during the summer.

Nice place for an escape

Una experiencia inolvidable! Tuvimos la oportunidad de pasar 5 días disfrutando del hotel. Destacar su restaurante. Una maravilla las rutas a caballo y el picnic entre viñedos.
Agradecer a todo el personal del hotel su simpatía y su profesionalidad. Volveremos sin dudarlo!

Hotel ideal, con saloncitos acogedores.Las vistas desde el hotel son increibles, transmiten paz.Hotel tranquilo, pensado para gozar de la naturaleza en todo su esplendor.Recomiendo a los aventureros subir por detrás del hotel el monte que tiene un sendero que se llama Ruta de la torre del Marqués,aviso que la subida tiene algún tramo duro .Arriba se ve todo el valle y se disfruta del silencio. Se vuelve por otro sendero mas facil y con vistas muy bonitas hacia el hotel desde el mirador de la Marquesa.
Las habitaciones muy confortables ,la iluminaciòn muy correcta, la limpieza fenomenal, los botecitos de chamú y gel super buenos!.( Natura bissé)
El personal tanto de recepciòn como del restaurante super acogedores,agradables y muy buenos anfitriones.Por los alrededores hay que ver el Parrizal de Beceite ,Valderrobres, Cretas, Calaceite.
En definitiva este hotel es un puntazo sobre todo para parejitas que quieran desconectar.
La subida en coche por la carretera es muy estrecha y hay que tener cuidado por si viene alguien de frente.
Si se busca retiro ,tranquilidad, cero estrés, este es el lugar.

Mi pareja y yo, decidimos cenar en el establecimiento y la verdad ha sido maravilloso sin ninguna duda. El chef Eduardo y sus compañeros de cocina y sala son sin duda un tesoro.

El Hotel es fantástico, pero siempre "hay detalles".
1°- una habitación muy buena , pero ........... un calor de 26°/27°, lo decimos en recepción y nos indican que está estropeada una pieza y que lo sienten, pasamos la noche con un agobiante calor, abrimos las ventanas, pero fuera hace 6°, total "poco dirmir".
Eso sí, ante las quejas, al día siguiente aparece el responsable de mantenimiento y lo soluciona, con una amabilidad tremenda ¡¡solo se tenía que activar el modo veranoen el termostato!!.
2- no es lógico, en una habitación excelente, que pongan (hay espacio) un sillón para poder leer.
Por lo demás, esto son anécdotas puntuales, todo excelente.
Volveremos.
