Serrania de Cuenca

Visited at the end of September, had very good weather to walk arround. Not so many people at all, just met some dog lovers like me. Plenty of wild life.

Lovely area for recreational trekking, cycling, motorcycling or just simply walking and enjoying the outdoors.

One of the best kept secrets in Spain. A wonderful national park set in a remote mountain area populated with local species of pine forests, and wildlife. Set between two iconic towns: Cuenca and Albarracín (the latter in Teruel province), worth taking the detour to go from one town to the other.

Cuenca is a beautiful small town and it’s surroundings counts with many astonishing sceneries you can’t pass over. You will get enchanted like it’s “enchanted city”; one of it’s most famous places.
