Very nice albergue in Castrojeriz. Highly recommend it.
The host is welcoming, the whole atmosphere is warm. The place is kept clean, beds are great (no bunk beds) with fresh cotton linen.
The lady made us a nice dinner, hummus, pasta salad, grilled chicken, chocolate icecream and wine.
There is an option of an early breakfast that is prepared and served since 5am, this has been amazing, since I was an early starter.
Overall, nice albergue, and if you are in Castrojeriz, I highly recommend it.

close to a supermercado, no bunk beds - only single low beds😇. available kitchen w fridge, but stove not working at this time. dinner & breakfast offered. clean bathrooms/showers.
they open reception at 12:15pm.

One of the best albergues on the camino with single beds well spaced out with everything you could need for cooking cleaning and dining with fantastic owners always available to help with an Atm next door pub and restaurant within 50yds and pharmacy within 200yds

A really nice guy is running this Albergue. Everything is nice and sweet, but the best is the dinner at this place, Javier is preparing a really delicious dinner with passion.

April 2018 Walking Camino Frances in the snow - greeted by Javier who took over the laundry service so everyone had their clothes washed + dried the next day - drying racks over heaters - hot showers - one of the best meals ever! I am from New Zealand - still isolated from the world - but - I would walk Camino Frances again just to connect with Javier and Hostel Rosalia 💕🚶‍♀💕

Cool owners. "honest kitchen" - you're provided with ingredients (rice, eggs, grains, macaroni, cereal, juice, bread) and the owners cook food for all those who want, for a donation of your choosing. Has rentable PCs, washer dryer. Good beds, boardgames. Lockers. Nightstands by the beds. Prime location in the town - all the best places to eat in town are literally next doors. A seedy local dive 15m down the road. Quiet. Although the doors shut at 10, the owners are amiable to guests staying out past that if previously informed. Hands down one of my fav. Places on the camino so far. Highly recommended.

By far the best place to stay in Castrojeriz. Javier and his team are great hosts. The place has all the practical services you need and no bunk beds.
The vegetarian fidea evening meal is a must and great value for money.
And Castrojeriz is also worth staying an extra night if you want to have days rest.

It is the best albergue in all the camino friendly staff super cool concept of hospitality and comunity spirit from sjdp to santiago its absolutly the best ... i really raccomand to stop in this place.... best place and staff ever...
