We booked by booking, but the room nh hotel’s staff assigned us didn’t fulfill our expectations, at the front desk they found an alternative with extra charge but made a discount. We really appreciate the effort, keeping in mind they were full.
We also recommend taking the breakfast, is an experience of traditional yet modern touch of food. You can order egg as you want them plus make your desire natural juice. The variety is extensive and every day you can enjoy something else. We take it for one day only, then decided to have it every day of our stay. The staff at the restaurant is kind and helpfully as well. Well done NH Hotel!

A perfect location, only a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral and centre, but just far enough away to not be in the hustle and bustle. The building itself is stunning and the room, although a 3rd floor room on the original attic, was very large and easily accommodated 2 people and a dog, and the dog was made to feel very welcome indeed, with a bed and some treats, which is the reason NH collection is easily the best chain out there for anyone travelling with their pet. The only downside of the room is that it only had a skylight, which needed to remain with the shutter down to keep the heat out. We did not go to the restaurant for breakfast, as the hotel is close enough to cafes that you can have a nice morning walk along the river and stop off somewhere.

This hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of Burgos. The hotel is attached to a church, giving the hotel a unique feel.
It has parking on site.
The rooms are big and super clean.
3 minutes walks from cathedral, river walk, restaurants.
Staff in reception were outstanding

Centrally located. An easy 5 minute walk to Plaza Mayor and the city center. The Catedral de Burgos is an easy 10 minute walk. The castle is a 15 minute walk. Set just across from the river, you can stroll along the river banks and take in the natural beauty of the city.

The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Full-scale bathroom and lavatory area. Two closets, coffee bar area, refrigerator, room safe, two chairs, and a two person sofa. There is a desk (with one of the chairs) with USB plugs and an electrical outlet. When I said spacious, I do mean spacious for this not being one of their suites.

My only critique of the bath area is that the tub should have either more grab bars or the tub floor should have anti-slip strips.

The staff in the hotel is wonderful! Reception is very efficient both with check-in and check out. Questions were always answered with a smile and suggestions when requested. The cocktail bar staff is friendly and attentive.

There is lemon water next to reception. After a day's walk about, a cold refreshing glass of water is most welcome.

Be sure to pay attention to their ecological conservation offers. You are rewarded with a beverage for delaying room service. This is a very creative idea to help conserve both water and energy.

I only have one small critical critique of one minor arrangement regarding the in-room coffee service. When we arrived, the in-room coffee bar only had 3 coffee pods - 1 intense, 1 normal and 1 decaffeinated. Going down to reception to inquire of an extra coffee pod or two, we were told that there would be a charge. However, if we waited until the next morning, housekeeping would provide any number of pods, no additional charge. This appears odd to me in that it delays the morning coffee "fix". For morning tea drinkers, this won't be an issue as there were numerous tea options and a kettle. Minor detail, but the reason for this process eludes me.

I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again during my winter holiday visit.

Lovely old school hotel with proper service and beautiful spacious rooms. The old town is right across the street but accommodation very quiet. Parking in the basement. Highly recommended!

A beautiful hotel that felt both ancient and modern at the same time. It seemed to be an old cathedral or monastery and a lot of those elements were integrated into the hotel. The entrance/lobby, the stairwell, the salons, and the event area all held original stonework and cloisters. Even our room utilized older (but sturdy) woodwork and furniture. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great.

Burgos is half way between Paris and the Costa del Sol, a great place to stop for the night on the road. This hotel was a fantastic oasis of luxury and they accept dogs which is why we chose them. The room was fully fitted with warm wood, cozy sofa, bathtub, and they gave us treats for the dog- a dog bed, biscuits and food and water bowls as well as a tag for the door so the cleaners don’t enter if the dog is alone. The location is good for walking to the beautiful historic center of Burgos where you will find huge pedestrian zone with literally hundreds or thousands of tapas bars each more typical than the next, outdoor living all year round.
Very large and cozy beds and silent room. We took a standard room on the quiet back street, as the premium rooms with views are over the main boulevard. They looked sound proofed but we didn’t need the view.
The hotel has a huge reception area in a historic courtyard and there was a very large reception this night but we didn’t hear any of it from our room 228. Would not have wanted to be closer to the party though so make sure you ask for a quiet room.
Will definitely come back on our way back and forth with our dog!

The best hotel I have stayed in, in Spain!
Hotel room is big and spacious, and has lovely views of the church.
The room has a Nespresso machine, kettle, tea and coffee pods (all 100% compostable), I was very impressed with their commitment to sustainability. Even the plastic bin liner was compostable. Highly recommend!

Loved this hotel situated in the old Palace. Sympathetically renovated to incorporate the original features. Even got the original bell that has a dull ring. Short walk to the town centre and cathedral Food was good. Staff were brilliant. Definitely recommend.

This was my second visit in the last few weeks. The first visit was excellent, the second equally as good. The staff are professional, helpful and courteous. The building and its location are excellent and breakfast in the Atrium is not to be missed. The cleaning staff were really very good and under the circumstances of the pandemic I felt safe.

Great hotel in a wonderful historical location. Centrally located. Spacious rooms and well designed. Highlight of the one night stay was the service at the breakfast room. The experienced lady (unfortunately she had no name tag so I can’t tell the name) did a spectacular job with each guest keeping a professional and friendly service all the time

An absolutely stunning hotel right in downtown Burgos. Easy check in and check out and private parking. The building is from the 1500’s and they did a wonderful job of keeping the historic charm. Would definitely return!
