La Favorita Burgos

This is an incredible venue, out front is a cracking tapas bar, great food, wines and beers, with a really lively atmsphere and welcoming staff. The olive skewers are absoluely amazing, highly recommended. Also the local wines taste great.
Tucked in the back room is a rather pleasant dining room, it was quiet and early when we ate here. The staff were excellent, English menus aren't available in the restaurant but they can be found online. We made our order and the staff were excellent at making food recommendations. Even going so far as to suggest that a full portion of chorizo would be a lot, and recommended a half portion, he was totally correct.
The main of grilled pork neck was sensational, tender and flavourful, I've never had pork that tasted this good before. My wife had a tuna salad, simple but with amazing flavours. We were recommended a local wine, with paired perfectly and tasted amazing.
Pudding was local cheese cake (no photos, it tasted too good), it was absolutely amazing.
This is a place I would highly recommend, both the tapas ar and the main restaurant are excellent and worth visiting.

Excellent meal, the solomillo and chuletillas de lechazo were spectacular. Well worth the money. Service was good considering the venue, and prices fair. Atmosphere was good, albeit somewhat unremarkable.

Hands down the best tapas I had in Spain (from Valencia to Bilbao), no wonder Michelin recommended so many times! 11 tapas 2 beers fast service €37 unbeatable!!

Delicious tapas in a traditional setting. The staff is friendly and service is fast. We enjoyed tapas and drinks at the bar. The restaurant was very busy so if you would like a table it’s best to make reservations.

Very nice atmosphere and they also have gluten free bread if you ask them :)

La Favorita is indeed a nice location. They have many interesting tapas or pinchos varieties. Everything is very tasty. Service is friendly and fast.

Mandatory stop every time I go to Burgos. I haven't tried anything like their foie pintxos, they are out of this world! They have an amazing selection of pintxos and wines, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Riscal + Foie = 🤤♥

If you are on the Camino, then this is a great place to visit for a glass of wine and some tapas. It is located in the old part of town, just a few streets away from the cathedral and the albergue. A great vibe inside and a great street life outside.

Amazing pintxos bar in Burgos. We are following a pub crawl and this is one of our favorites. Worth to visit. We got in a not busy day, but according to locals it is always very crowded!

One of the top spots to eat in Burgos. Great food, atmosphere, service in the heart of old Burgos. Try and eat here when you stop in Burgos on your camino. BTW - love the wine! Always drink Ribera in Spain-- nothing compares...

Excellent tapas selection together with wines or beers. This place is also nice for the Spanish classic vermouth. Also, it won in several turns prizes for the most creative tapas.

Excellent food and a real Burgos experience. Tapas early and hot meals from 9 pm. Spanish only, except for one waitress, so persevere if it is not one of your languages. But it is well worth it. Burgos is a lovely city with a pleasant and atmosphere.

The food is incredible! Amazing wine, many many options.

Just finish lunch here, it was perfect in every way... Started with lamb checks and peas for starters and then lamb ribs for main... Everything was so good. I would highly recommend it but make sure you book ahead.

We really enjoyed our food (squid salad and cow cheek). Red crianza was a bit too harsh, but not bad. Service patient (with us not speaking Spanish) and helpful. Very nice dinner.

I believe they have a Michelin star so that says it all about the food and they have 4-5 bartenders/waiters at peak times. They have a very wide bar which is perfect for fast service

Very good place. The ingredients were fresh and of very good quality, didn’t disappoint in the details either. Service quality was on pair with the food and atmosphere was one of a kind, I actually first came here in the afternoon just for a tea, it was probably the best time to admire the interior. Then decided to try it for dinner, it was a bit hectic but it is normal as this place is a tavern, and a very good one!
