Happy Hostal Carrales Burgos

Comfortable stay on the Camino Frances. Room with shared bathroom was perfectly comfortable and clean. There was a sink in the room which is a big plus. Arrived here after a wet and windy walk, and it was comfortably warm.
Short walk to all the things to see in Burgos and the staff member was very helpful with directions and transport to decathlon (there’s a free bus!).

Extremely clean and comfortable!! Got a private room here on our Camino. We arrived before check-in (unknowingly) and they had the room ready for us in 10 mins. The room was beautiful and we had a very nice night. We could hear some noises from pipes and talking in adjacent rooms but during the night I heard nothing and slept great. I would stay here again. The restaurant downstairs, Las Cantanillas, is AMAZING!! out of this world fantastic!

I loved staying here. It was just what I needed on my Camino. A night in a lovely hotel, the room was simple but had everything even towels, shampoo and shower gel. It was easy to reach the center, it’s just a few minutes walking but really close at the river which is lovely for walks.

Great location, especially if you're coming off the green route of the El Camino Frances. The room I had (211) is a little small but fine for it only being me and I'm only sleeping there.

It's a bit tricky going to the bathroom (shared, in the hall) in the middle of the night because the room key is needed to operate the lights so getting the key into the slot, in the dark, is tough when you're only barely awake 🤣

The room has a sink which helps reduce shared bathroom issues. A huge plus!

Centrally located beside the road hostel. Great service and the design is very refreshing. Big room for a single occupancy with a balcony.

I stayed in room 202, a double room with its own little balcony. Considering that I'm walking the Camino de Santiago, something this nice doesn't come very often.

The bed was super comfy and allowed me to recuperate my energy. The room has its own sink, so I didn't have to wait for the shared bathroom to shave or just brush my teeth.

The rooms and the shared bathroom are kept sparkling clean.

The hostel is close to a busy intersection, so it can get a bit noisy if your room faces the street. But ear plugs allowed me to sleep well regardless.

The wifi works extremely well.

Happy Hostal Carrales is located 5 minutes away from a laundromat and supermarket. It's about a 10-minute walk from the cathedral and all other points of interest Burgos has to offer.

A bit more expensive than my other Camino digs, but well worth the price in my opinion.

Clean, beautiful, smells good, perfect location in the city centre, short Walk to food store , restaurants and Cathedral. Highly recommended. Give yourself a treat along the Camino and enjoy a fresh room and wonderful shower in private bathroom

Friendly welcome and helpful owner. Clean and tidy room, simple yet comfortable for my one night stay. Walking distance to the centre, 5 minutes, and have parking just across the road.

I was at Hostal Carrales last week and I have no words to describe the place. The staff was excellent dealing with us. The hostel is really central and within a 5 min walking to the Burgos Cathedral. Our room was big, clean and lovely. Totally advisable if you are going to Burgos and you need a fantastic place to stay.

Cost: 102 euros/night for 5 people. After many days in cramped albergues with low pressure showers our stay here was luxury. The beds were clean and cozy so i slept like a rock. Great location 10 minutes by foot to the cathedral or El Cid. The host was really helpful and even showed up at 6 to see us leave.

Actually a phenomenal value. Very clean private room, private bath, clean and comfortable sheets for ~$32. Also very friendly and helpful service.

Host was very helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms were clean and spacious for the price. I stayed in a double twin bedroom that included a private bathroom.
