Camping El Cid

Great little site about 30 minutes walk into the old town of Pensacola. Good cycle paths. 20 minutes to beach. Good facilities clean and hot showers. The staff were excellent very friendly and helpful. €15 a night is a bargain. Pool was closed due to renovation. Good pitch sizes and quiet. On site restaurant was nice.

Very nice camper place, the woman at the reception is friendly and helpful!
We made a reservation for a certain date, but we had some problems with our camper and we can't arrive at the date that we plan. She kept a nice place available until we arrived, in the end we stayed longer than planned!
We will come back next year, highly recommended.

First visit to El Cid Campsite after visiting Peniscola many times. Well we were very happy we visited. Reception staff were very friendly on arrival and very helpful and accomodating. Large plot. Lovely clean showers/ toilets with plenty of hot water. Swimming Pool. Bar/ Restaurant which was open all day staff again very friendly. Paella Wednesdays with drink 5 euros. Buffet at weekends and Disco Sat eve. A very friendly site which allows dogs also. 15 euros a night which includes electricity. We intended to stay a couple of nights but ended up staying for 4 weeks. Will definitely go back. Such a lovely site.

Here I feel like Home , the restaurant have the best food in Peñíscola !

Great campsite, large level pitches with easy access. Sanitary block is superb and spotless. Very helpful, multi lingual receptionist. We very much enjoyed our 4 nights at this relaxed and friendly site.

Great stop for motorhomes. Shame there are too many permanent pitches that are not in the best condition and unsightly.

Brilliant campsite. Showers and toilets were like a decent hotel. Spotlessly clean and all new. Showers were proper mixer taps not the usual press button every ten seconds. Even the on site restaurant wasn't bad. Mum was the cook, and even late on Saturday night at the end of the season (we were the only ones in) cooked us a superb plate of anchovies and squid. Really welcoming (which must be hard to maintain after a long season) family run place. Heartily recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay with our Campervan. Everything you need. Very friendly at the reception as at the restaurant 😀 Great Pool , facilities and very near to Peñiscola and Benicarlo. It was our first visit at Camping El Cid and we will be back.

Such a nice place! We stayed for 3 nights. The receptionist is extremely lovely, the spots spacious and nice with flat ground, plants and trees. WC and showers were the cleanest and nicest on our trip!! Also only 15€ all incl. in November.
Pretty old town of Peñiscola not far, especially with the bikes.
This camping might be less central than the others in town but is not surrounded by ugly skyscrapers and houses.
Aldi and Mercadona just around the corner.
We would love to come back one day :)

Very helpful reception.Good sized pitches, consisting of small pebbles & gravel, with low hedges. Some tree cover too. Easy walking distance to the town & beach. There's a swimming pool as well. Toilets are clean & efficient.
We will be back.

Everything from the camp site, the showers, the restaurant and the swimming pool are keep so spotlessly clean.

We were there last weekend in a bungalow. Perfect stay! Very near to the beach, you can arrive by walking, and also near to Peñiscola. Camping quiet, clean and calm. Reception was sooo nice, she explain us everything we can possibly need about the area. Definitely the place to be!! Thankssss

Great Site
Stayed 9 nights with our motorhome. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Sanitary facilities modern and excellent. Wifi very good. Price fair and reasonable. Staff especially Anais on reception couldn't be more helpful. Aldi close by so useful if you are a motorhomer with no car.

We loved it so we ended up staying for 2 weeks! Fantatsic showers and other facilities and lovely staff. very reasonable restaurant including a paella and a drink deal for 5 euros every Wednesday. Would highly recommend.

We had intended to stay in camp Eden but it was completely full so we would not have stayed in El CID otherwise and are we glad we did What a gem of a site From the the receptionist who was super efficient and spoke excellent English to the facilities on site Very good restaurant On site The best showers I have come across on any site Aldi 3 minutes and a lovely cycle walk way I would highly recommend this site

Brilliant camp site. Secure with friendly staff .Nice bar and restaurant. Toilet facilities etc are absolutely fantastic .Met one chap who turned up one day last September and was still there !
